Our second full day in Baghdad was so much fun! We explored Taq Kasra, and also met so many cool locals in Baghdad, when we accidentally went to a festival in a park.

Have you noticed how normal the people are, I lived in Baghdad for 24 years and left with only 100$ in my pocket but I was happy, now I have everything I need but I miss home and the language.Days and nights without speaking Arabic until I stopped talking to people.I appreciate you for going all the way and show the world who the Iraqis are and what they need in life,and they still have the hope like any other nation who suffered from wars and corruption

Because let’s face it you saw how people are nice , generous , and kind . As for the police check points no need to be even worry about them because they are just so curious seeing tourists they are just like cats with their curiosity. Frankly, when I saw this video, I cried because Iraq was much more beautiful, but the government destroyed it. Their salaries are among the highest in the world, and they do not do anything for the people or the country. They are just sitting on their seats and raising money for themselves and their families who live abroad.😥🇮🇶
