He have a rather extravagant taste which is not everyone's cup of tea, but he's sincere about it, not just for the sake of bling. Judging from his look alone I would expect him to be obnoxious and snobby but that's not the case at all.

Neither is factually correct, according to the common understanding of the English language, in relation to 'Producer Michael'. I love Michael so much. He is such a great guy. “I don’t care about the movement, I buy them because I like the way they look!” I really appreciate this kind of attitude. It’s super fun to nerd out on movements and references. There’s got to be some initial pull to a watch at a superficial level.

Don't share his taste either. But somehow collections follow their own internal logic and I really and truly enjoy Michael's collection, as Michael's collection. Like, I doubt I would wear a watch with even a single diamond. However, when he opens one of his watch boxes and you see full pave AP's in different precious metals, for instance, it's exciting and fun. Thumbs up indeed.

By the way brand he's kind enough not to roast on Teddy's Channel is Richard Mille. I really respect that even though he has named them on his own channel, he doesnt want to implicate teddy in naming the brand directly when teddy is trying to grow his channel. He's commented in the past that RM makes it feel like a favor to you if they sell you a watch and spoke negatively about the boutique experience. When you think about it, there's no doubt in my mind RM would be a snooty boutique.

I’ve changed my view point on Michael. I used to think he didn’t have true appreciation for watches but his collection changed up so drastically. I like what he’s doing at the end of the day because he puts eyes on time. I’d like to see him get some vintage too though!
