While trying to build income and prepare for retirement, It’s important to choose stocks that are expected to hold up in inflationary environments. To combat the negative effect of inflation, it’s a good idea to diversify your portfolio across different asset classes, such as stocks, bonds, and real estate, since this can help protect your portfolio against inflation. I have seen People making up to $500k in a quarter of a year during high inflation

One strategy is to invest in assets that performs well during inflation. Another strategy is to focus on companies that have the ability to pass on price increases to their customers. Its also important to maintain a diversified portfolio. I’m now at a point where I trust myself regardless of what friends and peers may think. Also, that being wealthy is okay so long as your heart and mind are truly in the right place. I really believe Kevin. I spent 25 years working in retail and was alway one of the best in the companies I worked for. The 1 reason I was successful was that I was authentic I NEVER sold something to someone they didn’t want or need. Another strategy, first house, put down the minimum permitted, once you own 50% of the total value of that house, sell it; them put down 20% on a house double the value of your first house; once u own 50% of house #2, sell it; put 20% down on another house double the value of house number 2; rinse and repeat. Before u know it, you own 50% of a $2M house.

$50k annual is £36.5k in the UK. That equates to the top 6% of earners. I used to make more, but very, very few of my friends did. Our national average is £22k annual before tax. Where I live it is more like £17k annual. In the UK you need a 10% deposit for a property, unless your credit score is very high. A mid terrace 3 bed ex council house will cost £150k plus, depending on where you live, if your sights are higher you are looking at £200k to £275k for a semi-detached 3 bed. So now you need £25k for your first property plus the amount of cash to fit it for rental. The vast majority of people/families in this country live with a bank balance of less than £1000 and they are struggling to put food on the plate week in week out. Yeah the UK is a great place to live \o/ So what about the little guy? how can they achieve financial stability?

I started learning on my own in my 30s because I got fed up with living pay check to pay check and nothing to show for it. I started learning about how to budget, save and invest. Learning and using 401's, IRAs, Stock, Bonds, REITS to invest. I keep learning and try to give back by sharing knowledge with family and friends.

We still live off of my salary and invest most of our monthly cash flow. The net worth is great but you’re right. Cash flow is just as important.
