LOL, I remember reading about this game for the first time in a Catholic magazine at my grandma's. The article condemned the game, while emphasizing the "realistic graphics", the blood and the gore. My thought at the time: "OMG I MUST HAVE THIS GAME!"

This game will always be a part of my childhood...I remember renting this, and staying up til 3am, playing my CD-X(yes, I bought one one, $500 back then!),drinking coke, and eating chips! Classic great memories!

I had a Sega CD back in the day and this was one of my favorite games. That system takes a lot of shit from people, but I always respect it because it took chances. These games were much different than anything that was on the market.

Guess nobody seems to think it's odd that some of these people are talking to a camera Couldn't get enough of this game when i first bought it in the 90s, it's redundant until you finish the first level then the action picks up a bit and there is more variety. I still enjoy this game, one of the better ones from the Fmv era if you have the patience. Thank you for taking the time record this and upload it, i'll sub because i see you have plenty more walkthroughs of games i liked from that era

In the time period this game apparently had taken place, in this video game narrative cameras weren't everywhere like they are now , so someone speaking to a hidden camera would have seemed odd at the time ( early 90s ) Remember how weird it was when bluetooth first came out, it;s still weird to see someone carry on a conversation with one of those units, if you don't know they are using one of those devices .. In this game, people speak to a camera and nobody thinks anything is odd about it

Wouldn't mind a remake of this in VR. FMV games like this could make a comeback with VR. The gunplay was shitty in this (since it didn't actually use a lightgun), but it was cool how the events would be somewhat randomized (wouldn't always be the same person that was the alien in the same scene).

And man, did I make that last comment way too soon. I swear there was at least 20 minutes of "blow up the Stormtroopers" there. I'm downgrading this from "lousy" to "suck". There doesn't even seem to be an attempt to have any sort of gameplay variety or plot advancement here. It's kind of neat how the camera view actually does degrade as you take hits, though.

@AllPro77712 жыл бұрын

@UsaSatsui13 жыл бұрын
Honestly, this is just lousy. I know these live-action games were pretty limited in what they could do, but at least other ones did a decent job of immersing you in the game, which is really all these games had going for them (Night Trap is a good example, it's just press the button at the right time, but the people in the game react to the traps and even try and sabotage you). This? Heck, most of the time, a hidden camera blasting the hell outta someone just gets no reaction from the crowd.
