Mega Man X6 TAS the CORRECT Way!!! - Mega Man X6 100% X Only TAS Speedrun!!
In this video the Mega Man X6 TAS is finally done the correct way or at least the way Dr. Light Canonically intended it to be! Because in this run we're only using Mega Man X and not Zero at all as well as collecting 100% of all the items and saving every single Rreploid! If this doesn't make Dr. Light proud I don't know what will. As always I hope you enjoy this video :)

The another area from Rainy Turtloid Stage is where is a reploid with Hyper Dash part, this is why TAS ever starts there.

As long as it's a run that allows some specific rescues from Rainy Turtloid's secret area, Zero will ALWAYS be unlocked. That's because it's faster to just beat Nightmare Zero instead of losing a life multiple times.

The shadow armor is very cool. Probably my favorite armor, maybe second favorite.

You can not even use the Shadow Armor during the Rainy Turtloid stage to get all the items because the body part you pick up IS for the Shadow Armor. It is intended to use the Blade Armor here which makes the air dashes easy since you can hold the air dash for a bit before charging and change directions in case you hold the air dash to high and hit the spikes.

Blaze Heatnix's stage makes sure you use the Blade Armor anyway regardless of any tricks or glitches.

@@DarkFrozenDepths If you get Metal Shark Players nightmare effect in that stage you can set it up where you dont need the Blade Armor since one of those metal cubes can lift you up. Slightly difficult jump but definitely doable. With Blade Armor you dont have to rely on that though.

Actually the Rainy turtloid part with the air dash is the intended way, I knew about DMG boosting when I saw my first speedrun, which is riskier cuse you gotta time it perfectly so s dont run out

The only category of Speedrun that will battle High Max, apart from Any%, will be one that requires it. It's just a slow fight, objectively. Also, no weapons for Shadow Armor. This is a Weapon Master Run, I wouldn't be surprised if this was by MagnusZero.

Also side note, but it's impossible to get the Shadow Armor as X if you don't have the Blade Armor first. And that's due to a part where you need to air dash straight upward. Idk if Zero could get it though.

You can get every shadow armor piece without using zero or the blade armor. In blaze heatnixs stage, so long as the metal shark player nightmare effect is active x can use a metal block that spawns in order to dash jump into the middle gap leading vertically, no longer necessitating the upwards dash In rainy turtloids stage you can either do a perfect air dash or damage boost past the spikes. I prefer to damage boost. In metal shark players stage, using a combination of blizzard wolfangs ice ball to give yourself extra height before dash jumping and then using blaze heatnixs flame saber to reset your falling momentum towards the end of the jump, you can reach the armor part In blizzard world fangs stage I think you just need a precise dash jump, though it might require either parts or the blizzard Wolfang ice ball itself. Not entire sure, but there is a video on it if you want to see. The tas does reach it with just the falcon armor using an air dash and some form of damage stall, don't know if that's possible outside of tas All of these are easier with zero, with the exception of rainy turtloid due to zero having a taller hutbox making the air dash harder to nail- though damage boosting is still viable.
