@@michaelbrindley4363 I think its very deceptive. Gar's playing was also deceptively complex. There is a lot going on that was missing from Megadeth drumming for decades. Dirk is playing lots of ghost notes and unconventional fills usually not found in Megadeth.

Just saw Megadeth for the first time a couple weeks ago in Indiana. I love Dirk’s drumming! As a drummer myself, I know it’s not easy to hit that hard and still play clean, but Dirk makes it look easy! His time keeping is spot on too. He’s my favorite of the Megadeth drummers and I hope he stays with Megadeth long term!

Another job one! Dirk, I just saw your interpretation of that song by the Killers "Mr. Brightside". I think that's the name. I laughed when you said you didn't know it because I didn't know it either. The guys at the board acted like everyone should know that song. Nope! I was impressed how quickly you picked it up.
