There's a man that loves what he's doing. We all know Dave's an extremely intelligent individual. I mean who else could write "It gives me a migraine headache sinking down to your level"? Lost count how many times I've used that line. Anyhow, Dave could probably get any musician he wanted to tour with him but look who he choose. He knew what he wanted & he got it. Incredible lineup of exceptionally talented musicians. I love it. I really do. I'm going to be catching a show this late Summer. I can hardly wait.

This is great! It's a whole different perspective on a song I know so well to have the focus almost exclusively on the drums, it raises my appreciation for how intricate some of the song arrangements actually are. Dirk is easily my favourite Megadeth drummer.

He reminds me of Hal Blaine who I consider the goat. He might end up better than peart, rich, grohl and rcph Dave. He's got to he ambidextrous like half with all the cross overs and timing. He doesnt rush them, and you can tell hes confident enough to let Silence be a note so it stays in beat.

Can anybody identify what the hi hat mic is? Obviously a side-address mic, but I am curious what the make and model are. Also, I personally would have put it UNDER the hats, but that's why I want to know what mic it is. Maybe it rejects so much from behind there's no NEED to isolate it. Inquiring minds want to know. Very good! But,the only "difficult"parts were the the tom rolls. Everything else was straight ahead 4/4 stuff. Very hard hitting(which you really don't have to do 'cause everything is mixed really well) Great drummer!
