You are by far the best deck builder I’ve ever known in any card game. Your approach is always so clever and original that shows everyone how great of a game this would be if not focusing on a few (supposed) meta decks. Your attitude and fun playing are just the sweet cherry on top. Thanks for being such an awesome person and content creator!

Not sure thats a sign of really good deckbuilding. I won some games in dia with mind meld decks i build myself, same with decks like tarvic. Just be creative on your own, you can build many decks that may be around 40% winrate cause the opponent doesnt know how to mulligan and what to expect. They wont be competitive like the deck mogwai shows us here. But at least they are fun to play. Try to build something interesting with katarina for example. I'm pretty sure there is a deck with her around 45% winrate, but nobody has build it

While others probably come up with similar ideas, Mogwai is the only one to my knowledge who comes up with them daily with not many breaks, and optimizes them past surface level off meta combos, into consistent viable (I mean it's not lee sin, but he's not a miracle worker) decks.

I have been working on this since the new landmark was revealed and had come to the conclusion on twisted fate being a good alternate champ, because everything he does helps the game plan, (stall/aggro control and card draw to get you closer to deep). I had been experimenting with ratios but still had not landed at this point yet but i had found the only sea monster you want most of the time is devourer so being more reliant on the rng is not so bad for extra sea monsters as even in tradtional deep deck you are only using maybe 2-4 more sea monsters anyway. A good solution to the problem it is a shame we did not get to see more against the heavier aggro match ups as still seems like a lot is reliant on the draws. However maybe this is a sign that the main climbers have finished getting into masters with the op decks and now is where the experimenting is going to start happening more...if so hope it lasts till they sort lee sin.

Primero que nada, excelente video Miguel, me encantó ver a nautilus con targon y no el típico mazo deep. On the intro: No idea why people complain about "too few Sea Monsters". It sounds like they barely played Deep. Sea Monsters are usually the worst draws you can get before you are actually Deep. They barely stabilize for the mana cost (unless it's a good Devouerer) and dont help you get to Deep. The turn you are Deep you can finish with Naut and one or two Sea Monsters anyway. That is why the deck needs more cards like Jaull Hunters, giving Deep the opportunity to play Sea Monsters without needing to put them into the deck (maybe the Landmark is enough, I havent tested it yet).
@NeverDry9994 жыл бұрын
Ya know, this could actually be a good basis for Nami. Imagine, an expansion where Nami gets added to the game alongside a couple of Targonian Sea Monsters, giving us more Deep synergy.

Hey Mogwai, have you considered making a Vaults of Helia deck but with Noxus instead of Demacia? You could use Darius > Rekindler > Captain Farron as your end game as a "free" 8/8 with overwhelm and 12 bonus damage is quite hard to circumvent.
