It's because they were just being themselves. Actors and actresses today just want to look like everyone else. They get their eyebrows lifted, plastic surgery, and wear the same make up styles. They even wear the same clothes and hairstyles. Everyone wants to look like a Kardashian and the result is that they all look the same and therefore boring and generic.

Megan seems more wholesome with zeal than Amybeth from the new Anne. Ella Ballentine is OK. Megan still "reigns'' on top!

@Marquis De Sade I'm tired of all the remakes, hopefully someone will do a movie based on LMM other novels. They are fascinating as well. Considering she is middle aged now, Megan would make a great Marilla. I read a new novel based on Marilla, Matthew, and Rachel's youth last year. It was pretty good. Do you watch the current Netflix Anne series?

@@cocoaorange1 It’s my dream to remake the series but put a correct ending on it. I wish Jonathan was still alive because it would be so fun to have Anne and Gilbert as an older married couple and get have the last book from the series turned into a film

I met her in person. She was rather cold . Hey Im just a fan.. Alas the WHOLE cast signed their names in my Play Book! I sent them a $50 bottle of wine but I got SO much more! It was back in 2001 at Gravenhurst. THANK YOU! I could KISS every one of you! Thank you all for a memorable night!
