Similar happened in England, except the women's soccer team recognise as to why they are paid less. In my country, the women national team are paid the same as the men - this is going to have a negative effect on the men's soccer. It is so incredibly woke here. But again, it wasn't because the women soccer players complaining.

I'm a guy who actually used to pay $ to go watch and support the US womens soccer team back in the Mia Hamm days (90s-2004), even flew to Australia for the 2000 Olympics to watch the US womens team play, and went to 3 womens world cups. But i cannot stand Megan or the modern womens team. Its been over a decade since i even watched womens soccer and i was rooting for Brazil that game. Once they started that kneeling BS in 2016 and sued because they wanted to be paid as much as the US mens team despite female soccer bringing in like 63x less revenue- i said f**k em. Actually they deserve to be paid even LESS because atm they get a bigger % of revenue than the mens team does. The men's teams literally have to subsidize the womens teams in most US sports, because no one watches or cares about most female sports. Probably because middle school age boys could beat the US womens national teams in almost every sport
