I appreciate you sharing your Mennonite heritage - it shows how similar Christ followers are, rather than looking for ways we are dissimilar. After all, in Heaven there won’t be separate sections for Mennonites, Baptists or Methodists!

Aw, it touched my heart so much when you talked about little Fletcher wanting to pray for his Daddy and then asking to pray longer! When you talked about that and showed Josh on the ladder, I thought about how the Lord may have impressed your little boy to pray like that because Josh may have been in danger of falling or something like that. We just never know what God spares us from or why He gives special nudges to pray. Hearing the beautiful acapella singing also touched my heart. So beautiful! Our son picked up our mail today & told me my order arrived from you, so I am super excited to get the t-shirts and I will be mentioning them/your shop on my blog soon! May God continue to bless you and your family and community, Megan!🙏❤

These are the days to remember...the days of your life that you call to mind as your eldest enters middle school and then high school...they fly by and I enjoy nothing more than seeing sweet families of every persuasion just living. I know others enjoy a more dramatic sort of video at times, and I don't mind it on occasion. However, my favourites are the sweet, kind, videos where everybody is free to just be. You're great at making these videos and I see every bit of hard work you put into your every endeavour yet you make them appear easy and they're flawless...just, thank you. I am so happy every time I see you've created another memorable download for us. Xoxo to you all.

I’m a non-Mennonite Christian, and I wish my church and Christian circles made Sunday a day of rest better. My husband works in campus ministry and he has required meetings with student leaders every Sunday evening… we have been trying to make Saturdays our day of rest, but even that’s hard because he has overnight weekend retreats and conferences to go to. Not sure when we can fully rest together, especially when he’s gone overnight. I have a 3 month old and taking care of him is a full time 24/7 job lol. I really love my church family and what our community looks like and our values, but there are definitely things I’ve come to appreciate and respect about your church and community, Megan! People there dress up according to Modern standards. I like the fact that our pastor and all the other pastors wear suits and ties. It is nice to get dressed up to go to church on Sundays even though I dress professional for work during the week. Love your videos especially the snippets of the beautiful countryside. Everything always looks so beautiful. I’m Fundamental Independent Baptist and a Pastorswife. We sing Hymns from the Red Back Hymnal and choir specials are hymns or gospel songs. We have a piano which I play , an electric bass which my husband just learned to play, a stand up bass and an organ. Most of our ladies including myself wear dresses or skirts and some men wear ties, mainly khackis and polo type shirts. My husband our Pastor always wears a suit. We would never say anything about how someone especially a visitor is dressed. We feel we should give our very best to The Lord especially when we come together to Worship Him. My husband stresses II Corinthians 6:17 and that we as Christians should be separated from the world in our dress, where we go , what we listen to etc…The important thing is that people hear and respond to the gospel message. That’s what It’s all about. Loved this video, your children are so cute. Looking forward to next weeks video you always do such an awesome job. 💙Cheryl

I know you’ve mentioned at times before that at times you dislike the fact of Mennonites having a narrow mind to outsiders… but truly from someone who isn’t a Mennonite, I think yalls culture could be beneficial. People think you can't get hurt playing baseball - my brother was sitting on the bench not paying attention at all and was hit right in the middle of his cheat by a foul ball - he fell unconscious - had to be resusitated. It had hit him so hard his heart stopped. He was ok but spent a few days in the CCU too.

@@ginger1549 I know! We were at a local baseball minor league (?) game and a lady in the stands wasn’t paying attention and got hit by a foul ball. She was hurt I’m not sure how bad. The home teams trainer and medical staff ran into the stands to render aid until the ambulance crew got there. The hospital with a level 1 trama unit is only a couple blocks away from the ball park. I know they put a neck collar on her but I don’t know anything else. She was awake when the ambulance crew took her because she raised her hand when everyone clapped for her. It was so scary.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), our Sundays look similar to yours!! We go to Church and we do dress up. We wear our "Sunday Best"!! Girls are in modest dresses and men and boys are typically in Suits and ties. We welcome all visitors and would never make someone feel bad for showing up to Church wearing something that we typically would not wear to Church. We just welcome them and are so happy that they came to worship with us. We look at Sundays as "The Day of Rest". Whenever possible, we try not to work or shop on Sundays. Everyone's situations are different, and it is not our place to judge. I have always enjoyed Sunday afternoon drives. Sundays have always been a family day, and we enjoy a more formal meal on Sundays, and it is usually a day of extended family coming together to enjoy a good meal. I love Sundays because it is a different day from the rest of the week. I love the Sabbath Day and I do try to keep it Holy. I love playing uplifting, Gospel centered music on Sundays to enhance the Spirit of the Sabbath Day in our Home. I am usually playing this music as I am getting ready for Church to put me in the right frame of mind for participating in our Sunday services and partaking of the Sacrament. My husband and I are Empty Nesters, and I love watching your videos cuz it reminds me of when our children were young. Our children are all married with young families like yours. Our children were raised in our faith (LDS) and they are raising their children in our faith. It's like you: you were raised Mennonite and you are raising your children as Mennonites. I have said this before, but your faith and your faith community is very similar to my faith and my faith community. We are all children of a Heavenly Father who loves us, and we love Him. I have always respected people who know what they believe, why they believe it, and live what they believe. Thank you for doing that!! I too, am never afraid to share what I believe, and I live what I believe!! ❤️🙏

I grew up Catholic and children went to catechism. We always had Sunday church clothes, my mom always wore a dress (she is always nicely dressed anyways) I always had church clothes. My dad's church clothes did not differ too much from what he wore at work (my dad worked in construction) so everything he wore was quite heavy duty.I always like dressing up for church these days as most of the time my daughter covers me in spit up so I do not wear anything fancier than a t-shirt and jeans or sweatpants. I also quite enjoy hymns, I have also realized that there are no Catholic hymns every christian denomination tends to use the same hymns and melodies the different churches may change the lyrics.

Oh my miller eating the candy brought back memories of my son around that age we where at my moms and she always kept m&ms in living room on coffee table, all of sudden we realized my son was quite and there he is with a mouthful of m&ms and was not happy when we took them away. Have a wonderful weekend
