I completely agree with Ashley. Having those repeating elements, something reusable that's associated with you, is something artists strive for. Whether that's a techinique a look, or a figure- doesn't matter. My work is all over the place, I'd love to hone in on specifics that could be duplicated- I'm currently trying to do just that. i'm really glad you found a good solution with the digital goods - definitely downloading those stickers today !! making cut lines for people is a little difficult, but maybe offering transparent pngs (no background) could be a good option for people to make their own cutlines? that's what i do for my printables so that people can also use them digitally if they journal on their tablets :-)

Nicole will hopefully reply with a real, informed answer as a fellow creative but in the meantime (in case she doesn’t see it or something) I’ll answer from my customer experience and say that as long as the individual stickers don’t get too pixelated when I’m enlarging them and placing them in my digital journal it doesn’t seem to matter. I’ve bought sticker sheets for $1.50 on Etsy that have 10 hand drawn stickers that fill up the page and I’ve also purchased sticker books (which is really just multiple files/pages) for $10 that will have 20 or more stickers per page and 5 or six pages 🤷🏻‍♀️Once I copy them from the file and place them in my journal it’s up to me to decide how big I want them to be. Hope this makes sense 😅 It was really great to see some of the footage of how you work! I find so much comfort in the visual repetition when an artist carries elements across pieces and I didn’t find it boring to watch you go back and forth (also because you were sharing your how’s and why’s and it wasn’t just music in that section, I think!). I am glad to hear some pep back in your voice and I really think this digital shift will open so many new doors for you to sell your work and will boost your income so much over time!

The entire sheet with transparent background is fine 😊. In the silhouette software there's an option to separate the elements into individual pieces, so it's possible to readjust the size of each element. And also to draw an automatic outline, so you wouldn't need to draw them manually (that's a hard work!). But yeah, transparent background would be 👌🏻😅

@@MeganRhiannon I usually just upload it as a png file with 0 background. yet like for stickers before I do that. I make a layer and under all the drawings so like that bottom layer before the background. then with the basic pen in white I draw a outline of each item. then fill it in. So when the person uploads it to their cutting machine the machine will know where to cut. *Remember* to make the area is filled in or it will do wee little cuts and there if there is 0 white background . I hope that helps. If you need a visual of this I don't mind sharing a video about this process with ya.

Can’t believe cassettes are really coming back. Damned annoying things. Get some cotton buds and alcohol to clean the heads on your Walkman. When it starts chewing tapes, give the rubber heads a good clean so you don’t completely destroy your tapes

i literally just print on plain, cheap printer paper and glue them down with a glue stick, no sticker paper involved! ❤️‍🩹

Cross fingers I will be at 1,000 followers for my October 23 goal. . Love your videos. .j I haven't read any of the comments yet. For the Cricut machine. you can print it out via the app that is on your computer or tablet. the printer will make the black outline on your paper. Then for the ones who have the paid subscription to Cricut then can ask the program to take away of the background and then the machine will just cut around each Item. Also, there is a way to make a background behind each item on the page. . I make printables too. - I usually (not always) give a pdf file and then a png file without the background so they can use it as a cut file on their machine.

You just print them out yourself on paper, use a scissor and then glue it on the page

Just a comment on the repetition aspects of your designs: It's both natural for autism and for graphic design. It's how brand identities work - repetition is what creates a coherent image. So yeah, if you didn't repeat elements, colors and textures your visual style wouldn't be as clear as it is ^^
