I must say, the transition into Vortiger's Bulwark Stance after a Light, Heavy, or Block looks really smooth.

Classified as a Heavy, but looks, moves and feels like a slightly defense-tilted Vanguard. Heavy mix-up bag for offense and (scarily strong) Bulwark moves for defense. Vortiger is basically when the Warden gets a cape and kite shield. Anyone else getting the same vibe? Great guide btw, looks amazing

Not quite as toxic as I had hoped for since the Wu lin release was straight cancer. This kit is everything Warlord's kit should have been. And it's a bit of a shame in a way. But I am however very pleased with how solid and fluent everything feels so far. Now I just got to hope once I take the smurf training wheels off it will be viable in high rep play.

he's not like "omg what do I do, Im helpless" OP, but he's seriously overtuned. He has everything except dodge atack. And all he has is better than counterparts in other characters. Better bash than conqueror, massively better all guard than conqueror's and warlord's, better DMG than most characters ( 20dmg chain lights, are you f** kidding me?), undogeable finishers after unpunishable bash. Last but not least - bulwark counter is a joke. WTF#1 BP is invicible during it. No other character has anything like this to my knowledge. Damage reduction- yes. Wtf#2 Counter's victim has no damage reducion - again, does any other character have it? Everything like LB's longarm have damage reduction on it's target.

A good counter I’ve found to Vort so far is Cent. He’s got great oos pressure, can almost drain Vort stam in a single gb combo and if you’re good at feinting his heavies into gb then you can catch a Vort quite quickly. Be careful with his counter though, cause if a Vort has good timing and you’re throwing quick heavies out there you’ll get predictable and easy to kill. This is only with the few times I’ve played Cent vs Vort, so if I’m wrong by all means point it out.

Ik this is a bit late, but one of my favorite combos is Superior Light, Heavy, then Bulwark Slash. Sometimes you can mix it up and feint the Heavy or Slash to do another Superior Light

He looks relatively balanced except for his oos pressure but that will likely be patched. I like his look as well but not for the edge, more for how menacing he looks. I wasn't all that interested until I saw that you can go into his Bulwark stance and keep comboing after a chain, I like being able to continue aggression.
