I have some questions for Jill Stein. 1) Besides running for president, what did you do between those four years to advance your agenda? Did you go to Congress and ask them to pass a bill for Universal Healthcare, preparations for Black Americans, etc.? 2) Why don't you have people to run for Senate or US Representatives? And if elected, how can you pass any bills when you villainize and alienate both parties? How come since 2005 you're the only one in the Green party elected to be president? Don't you guys have an election? and a primary?

I watched Jill Stein’s “Breakfast Club” interview. She and her running mate Butch Ware seemed friendly, but it was clear that the two of them lacked substance and provided a lot of long-winded rhetoric. She blamed the U.S. and U.K. for the war in Ukraine - but not the dictator who actually started the war. She called VP Harris a war criminal, but she NEVER called Putin - the one who attacked Ukraine unprovoked - a war criminal. After Angela Rye questioned her, Jill admitted to having no seat at the table and no ally at the table (no party members or allies in congress); so she has no resources to carry out any of the promises she is making to voters, despite running for (and losing) elections for 22 years. This woman is not serious, and she is clearly Putin’s Puppet, seeing if she can shave off some votes again like she did in 2016. People, don’t fall for it; we are still paying for the outcome of 2016.

@esjay I agree with your take, although it seemed like Stein avoided what she didn’t know, and filled it in with that long-winded tangent about what’s wrong with the system. As Angela tried to find out who would be her allies in Congress, and as Ware notioned that she’d answer it, she gave a response about Congress should be doing town halls like they used to, ignored the question, and blathered on for 10 to 15 minutes as if Angela would’ve forgotten her question. Very deceptive style, and hopefully we get to see the full interview by Mehdi Hasan

Green party might as well be the unseen party. In order to win, third parties have to put in place a structure, platform, and coalition together on the local level before trying to win on the national level. Win town, village, city, county, state offices first. Crawl, walk, and then run. The green party should set its goals on state wide offices if they want to be taken seriously.

I wish more people knew this and I admittedly didn't know before. No third party can win the Electoral College as it stands right now because they aren't on the ballot in every state. So voting for them for president is a waste. That said, by all means go ahead and vote for them on the local and state level when you can.

Good Afternoon Prof. I listened to that whole interview and I have to say that she and her running mate are unequivocally unqualified to hold ANY office in my opinion. It’s funny how Butch Ware criticizes Madam VP Harris on using identity politics but he made sure to mention his Muslim faith and his Mexican wife. I also find it hilarious that anytime Jill Stein gets cornered, she likes to quote famous political figures as if she’s on par with those she quotes. These two just come off as disingenuous and entitled.

Hasan criticized policies Harris supports, has developed reputation for taking stances to advance career to include accusations of false testimony & plagiarism, that he worked for network noted for strong bias for Democratic candidates, that although most journalists criticize Harris's stronger reputation for avoiding answering questions, he is silent.

The Mehdi interview by far is what made me look at Stein and the whole Green Party with skepticism. I mean she had the opportunity to denounce Putin and did not. wtf? The Angela Rye interview I didn’t like cuz she should have asked questions like Mehdi. Democratic a do participate in white supremacy they are taking dark money as well. I think some of the critical inspection of the Democratic Party should help it be better and that’s what I value in order to make this country live up to what it boasts. Like I said Kamala needs to get off the I$ntreal teet and severe all connections else we will end in another war by proximity not to mention war crimes. Those concerned don’t see enough of Stein between election cycles (or any other time) have option to ask Dem. party why they keep suing 3rd party candidates off ballot or end their campaigns by forcing them into bankruptcy w/ numerous frivolous lawsuits filed simultaneously. If true Stein didn’t have anything to offer, this would be unnecessary.

Voters following politics between election cycles understand inaccurate to portray Stein as inactive between election cycles. Stein previously supported C. West before he dropped out. Both oppose war & policies intended to destabilize foreign countries like Haiti & Dem party’s inaccurate assumption Haitians lack ability to manage own govt. w/o interference.

I will say off that I will be voting for Harris. A vote for Stein is unrealistic, in my view. That being said I strongly agree with position that there is a genocide in Gaza and the need for the US to allow Ukaine to make peace with Russia by being neutral when it comes to NATO.

I think Russia should take initiative to make peace with Ukraine because Russia started the war, the perpetrator.
