Very true sister. I usually don’t hate on islamophobes but always pray for them. They are people who are likely to be guided. Because they find something in Islam that they are jealous of and probably vent there frustrations out on people in the comment section and some of them sometimes do genuine research on Islam and some of them end up accepting Islam. Speaking from experience knew one of them and Alhamdulillah they Are more practicing than i am

I usually don’t comment, but as a Jew and Middle school teacher, I have to tell you how much I love your channel. I work in a very diverse school and we have many students who are Muslim. We have several girls who wear the hijab and a few that wear the niqab. Your channel has helped me understand so many things. Religion is fascinating and I appreciate your family opening up to educate, inform, dispel myths, and even entertain us 😊 Your grace and humor and love for each other are a model for all to look up to.

I love this channel so much! From the educational value, to all the relationship goals!!! I’m not Muslim, I’m a born and raised Christian girl, and I don’t think about changing my religion either. But your channel shows the reality of Islam, the love, the peace, the kindness, all the things that are often openly ignored by the media and some people who chose hate. Through your channel I’ve also learned all these little things that I can do to make people feel more comfortable and welcome. I’ve had so many misconceptions! Thank you! 100% True. Plus "shariah law" is as simple as hygine. We dont need to rememember what sort of diseses and illness comes out when you are not hygienic. Islam is about following small rules for the better of ourselves such as cleaniness modesty. For example if we wore reveiling clothes we would feel super uncomfortable and our parrents would have a problem with that. Question is why??? We would be more at risk wearing such clothes. Why would you wanna wear clothes to attract others anyways.. we are all Allahs creation. Be content and happy with your clothes, appearance and focus on the positives. Compare your situation to those who are less fortunate then you..

Although not Muslim, I veil and I get nonsense like"So sorry your husband or father is forcing you to do this". What husband? What father? Both have been dead for decades. Or "Why are you giving up your freedom by wearing this". For me, full coverage IS freedom. I live alone and am a recluse by nature and veiling allows me to keep purdah even when outside. So many misconceptions out there. I veil because I feel God wishes me to do so. I took almost a year to take on wearing niqab because I wanted to be sure. I did it last year and am happy. And Mehdina TV has definitely help in this. So thank you so much, guys!

@@MehdinaTV it’s my personal belief that all religions are simply a grouping of individual threads making up a larger tapestry. This is because while all religions will have areas in which they differ and stand out, their are many similarities between them too, and their are many aspects that are essentially the same just framed differently.

Everyone should have the right to follow the religion of their choice, or not too. I hate that people are still unaccepting of religious beliefs in this day and age. Although I am agnostic, I am a very spiritual person. I love learning about all religions. And I just wanna give you both big props for putting out content that is not only enjoyable, but accessible too . When you talk about Islam, I feel like you are doing it from such a good place in your heart. Some content creators tend to be haughty and seem to think that they are better than others when they talk about religion. Muslims, Christians, and others...not just one type of religious people. But I have never gotten that assumption watching y'all. You both are just so wholesome, and funny. Thank you for taking the time to create and share. ❤️

"Everyone should have the right to follow the religion of their choice, or not too. " I couldn't agree more. The thing is, MehdinaTV didn't answer the apostasy question properly - (Sunni & Shia) Islam does *not* allow freedom of religion. All of the major Sunni & Shia schools of jurisprudence call for the *killing* of people who leave Islam - apostates (or 'merely' the imprisonment and beating of female apostates according to some schools). This ruling is based primarily on trusted hadiths like the following & it (or the 'crime' of blasphemy) is codified in law in several countries around the world. Sahih al-Bukhari Book 52 Hadith 260: 'Narrated Ikrima: Ali burnt some people and this news reached Ibn 'Abbas, who said, "Had I been in his place I would not have burnt them, as the Prophet said, 'Don't punish (anybody) with Allah's Punishment.' No doubt, I would have killed them, for the Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' "' muflihun.com/bukhari/52/260 Sahih al-Bukhari Book 89 Hadith 271: 'Narrated Abu Musa: A man embraced Islam and then reverted back to Judaism. Mu'adh bin Jabal came and saw the man with Abu Musa. Mu'adh asked, "What is wrong with this (man)?" Abu Musa replied, "He embraced Islam and then reverted back to Judaism." Mu'adh said, "I will not sit down unless you kill him (as it is) the verdict of Allah and His Apostle' muflihun.com/bukhari/89/271 humanism.org.uk/2020/07/14/success-sudan-abolishes-death-penalty-for-apostasy/ According to the 2013 Pew survey, ~237 million people who adhere to Islam think it's acceptable to murder apostates. www.pewforum.org/2013/04/30/the-worlds-muslims-religion-politics-society-beliefs-about-sharia/ kzbin.info/www/bejne/poSzp6F8eamEfs0 That is not an insignificant number. It is a minority of Muslims thankfully, but a significant minority. Ex-Muslims face *significant* persecution because of certain ideas in Islam. As long as this apostasy ruling is regarded as valid, Islam (Sunni & Shia) will remain one of the most bigoted ideologies in existence. Ahmadi Islam doesn't have any punishment for apostasy, it's a far more tolerant version of the religion. I don't know this couple so I don't know what their stance is, but I hope that they do not support the killing of people for leaving Islam.

Our reason for existence is for worshipping Allah (swt), and that is why we are instructed to do the same. Even though Christianity and Islam are similar in a lot of ways, it isn't the same. Christianity's reason for existence is probably different if that's what the bible says. THEREFORE, we really cannot come to an agreement with this, simply because our base ideas aren't same. Its the same in Islam, you get Paradise by Gods mercy alone. A single good deed could be enough to get you Paradise, the fact that you do good deeds shows how commited you are, so if you dont do good deeds you obviously dont get Paradise yet its all on Gods meecy. Like for example the lady who used to worship a lot but was cruel to a cat got hellfire and the lady who was a prostitute but fed a thirsty dog got paradise. Anyways we agree to disagree but in the matter of Gods mercy its the same

Yes, syched for part two! I was raised Christian and as a result of the history of that religion the Bible has a lot of information that is not related directly to Christianity but to the Hebrew culture of the time. I'm curious to know how much you could learn about Arabic culture when learning about Islam, since the Prophet Mahoma [thats how you write Muhammed in Spanish] was from Saudi Arabia as Jesus was from Jerusalem.

It's not a "misconception" that people are attacked or victimized for leaving Islam. It may not be common in your experience, in a Western country, but many many other people in Muslim dominated countries have a different experience. Under Sharia, the penalty for leaving Islam is death, is it not?

No lmao your misunderstanding. It would be a bigger thing then it is of that was the case lmao😂. The sharia states you can kill a Islam disbeliever IF and only if your in a war situation. Even in the war situation their are laws like you must leave them in a room for 3 months with food and water daily and if they still come out violent you can kill them. 😂 I learnt this when I was 12 it's simple islamic knowledge have you tried researching it? @@ophelian4646 its not good, thats not what the commenter said, killing people is always bad and imo wars are very unnecessary. BUT is killing a non muslim in a context of WAR really that different from any person killing any other person in the same context? People have been doing it for centuries, the US is always at war with someone, Russia just invaded Ukraine, we had things like the Spanish Inquisition, the Crusades and various mass genocides throughout history for no good reason, people die every day (and not in muslim countries!) for being LGBTQ+ or non-white even without any wars going on, so why is it worse just because it's a muslim person killing a random POW in self defense _during a war_? Would you go to a german and ask them if they think Hitler was good when they try to explain WW2 to you? No, you wouldn't. Because that's your islamophobia showing. So yea, killing people = not good. War = not good. Peace and tolerance = good.

Sorry , do you have any scholarly standing to talk about issues like the Sharia. You make it sound sweet and simple , but the truth you are avoiding is that within Sahih bukhari , there exists many violent hadiths like stoning Homosexuals or killing Homosexuals or throwing them off a cliff , killing apostates , slavery and this DOES. Form a part of Sharia. A country under your Islamic laws will *never* allow a Homosexual marriage leading to frustration , Tell them that , At least don't deceive your audience saying that "Sharia is only to keep you grounded".

Listen. Whatever you know about Sharia Law are the final punishment. Its not like you just punish them. It takes so much just to sentence people with Sharia Law. Example: stoning a husband/wife that are cheating. These requires 4 JUST men witness when the intercourse happen. Its not like, you just found these couple alone in the dark and just punish them. Its not like that. Another: LGBTQ+. Yes, we oppose this. The punishment for this are subjected to their action not their intention. They are not punished until they DO it. The same rule 4 JUST men witness during intercourse. The judgement of these witnesses can be questioned. Or if one of these witness admitted that he didnt see the crime before his eyes, the punishment will be lowered.

I think we're quick to demonise people who don't know anything about our religion/cultures, but there is a big difference being ill informed but being open to learn the correct information and thought that are being harmful. I say this because I am irish/german secular person who had misconceptions projected towards me during my time living in the middle east. I came across a number of people who assumed all "white people" love casual sex, drinking and drugs - they were intrigued to hear that my life is not like American Pie! However, the fact most people approach me with kindness and lack of information, I appreciate it and don't judge. It's impossible to know everything about everyone in the world- lack of knowledge or misinformation is different to prejudice!

Why should one always do something to get REWARDED? Why can’t we just do something without expecting anything back and try to get closer to god and eventually become one with god EDIT for people who think I don’t understand the point : I do understand it totally and I never said it’s wrong, I just feel we should do good deeds just out of love, care and compassion not with the expectations that we get some rewards.. that sounds very selfish and I don’t think god would be very happy with such deeds.

Because different things motivate different people. I for one, don't do barely anything in Islam for reward, but mainly so I don't burn in hell. Because that's what motivates me. I've slowly been doing things for rewards. However, the ultimate goal is to do things because you know Allah will be pleased with you. This is why in the Quran and Hadith they will talk about what is loved/hated by god, actions that give rewards, and actions that give punishments. Simply because different things motivates others. And at the end of the day, no matter how close we are to God, we gotta start somewhere. Even if the things that motivates us is "selfish" (I don't see it that way cause it's just looking out for yourself)

@Ms GoodVibez I am not Muslim actually and I apologise because I feel now re-reading my comment to you that I came across a passive and rude. It was not my intention. I was raised Catholic and I now am an atheist who loves learning about religion through the history of mankind. I am very interested in how individual people choose to worship and what they believe. I was frustrated by the fact that I didn't feel like the question asked was answered very well and also nobody in the comments seemed to be able to give me a good answer either. I know a lot about Jesus and not much about Muslim faith. I am genuinely curious where they get the idea that covering their hair and face is something that they should do to bring themselves closer to Allah and I see a possible connection between what I have learned about Jewish women wearing wigs to cover their natural hair and Muslim women wearing the hijab. Connections between the Faith's really spark my interest. I apologize if I came off rude. I am glad that you are a person who has faith that makes you feel fulfilled and brings joy to your life. I personally do not have the ability to have that Faith but I find it fascinating and I am glad for every one that it brings peace to. I am also saddened by the history of differences in faith causing so much pain, hate, and suffering. I believe that this is often caused by ignorance and therefore I choose to try to learn as much as I can

Islamic scholars says Sharia is mainly a code of ethical conduct and about worship and charity but a part of it deals with crime. Sharia law divides offences into two general categories: "hadd" offences, which are serious crimes with set penalties, and "tazir" crimes, where the punishment is left to the discretion of the judge. Hadd offences include theft, which under the strictest interpretations of Sharia, can be punishable by amputating the offender's hand.In Arabic, Sharia literally means "the clear, well-trodden path to water.. Women in countries that follow Sharia rule will also run the risk of receiving a beating if any part of her limbs is exposed underneath her burqa, for making noise, for being found on the streets without a male family member escorting her, or for simply being found on the street. She will not be allowed to go out to work or earn a living wage. One teacher, who denounced the laws and insisted that she would continue to teach, was struck with a rifle butt, and then killed after being shot in the head and stomach. Her death was witnessed by her students, her husband, and her daughter.” You guys only glamorize the truth but the truth is that if you lived under Sharia law then you would have been killed for marrying your husband who is a convert from Christianity. You would also risk being killed for having an open KZbin channel if you belonged to one such country. You are living in a free country and advocating for the oppressive systems. Then go live in such a place face the harsh reality then come back and preach. You don't need to sugar coat the truth. People will support you even if you say the truth. So please don't lie. Because it's a sensitive topic and many Muslim women don't have any rights basic human rights like you do . They are under the Sharia law. Ask them their opinion before being so insensitive.

Are the men ruling those countries more relevant than the prophet and his companions? One of the prophet’s companions, namely Omar Bin Alkhattab, was faced with a father who told him my daughter had sex with a man who isn’t her husband and she’s getting married soon what do I do?? You’d think he’d ask for her to beat her to death no? No. He told the father to stay quiet about it and marry his daughter off in peace. Even Zina was forgiven (which is a major Islamic sin -pre marriage penetration-). You think wrist showing deserves a harder punishment? No. Absolutely Not. That’s not Sharia law that’s using Islam for the sake of their patriarchal egos. It’s just like accusing black cats of being harmful unlucky creatures just because someone said so.

I'm currently a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Idk how much we vary from other Christians on this, but for us the Holy Ghost testifies of God's truth. It's been described as a peaceful feeling or burning in your bosom. Is there something like that in Islam that serves as a confirmation that you are doing as God wants you to according to his plan?

But once you do the istikhara you cannot back off you have to do exactly what you felt or what sign you see..... Bcz we believe that Allah lives in the heart so our heart automatically give us a thing about something wheather it is right or wrong... I hope this helps😅

I am Christian but I enjoy learning about other religions. You have completely changed my view on Islam. One thing I see when learning about other religions is that other religions tend to be very dedicated to their religion. As Christians we often think the rituals or rules of other religions are silly and unnecessary. Yet other religions are devoted to doing them to honor God. Yet we Christians tend to put off honoring God. We will skip church if there is something more enjoyable to do. We will forget to pray. We make excuses for not reading our Bible. We tend to be very lazy in our religion. Yet you put God first and do what is asked of you. I like what you said about God not needing our worship. He truly doesn’t but we do need Him!

You just have to believe in that and if now is not the right time, maybe someday that'll change. Just keep an open mind for now and keep striving to learn more.

@@MehdinaTV Thank you so much for replying! I fear converting fully means losing my child, my family, my home, my financial stability, etc... While it would be very hard it wouldn't be impossible to do but as a woman with fragile mental health at the best of times it could put me back in a very dark place that I am blessed to have finally come out of after years of hard work. To me losing my entire support system because of Islamophobia could very well lead me back to self harming or even lead me to suicide. Maybe one day but as of now while it's not impossible for me to convert I could argue that it is to dangerous for me to. Again thank you for the reply I wasn't expecting you to even see my comment on a video that's a few weeks old.

I'm not Muslim but from what I heard from ninja mommy is that it's ok if don't activly listen to it, so for example if you hear music and than you don't concentrate on it and concentrate on something else it's ok.

@@catella5260 this is very true. Like even as adults, we go to the grocery store or doctors office and there is usually some music playing. But we aren't singing and dancing to it. Its just there as a background noise.

I know this is a very serious topic but can you explain Islamic teachings regarding abortion? I have only been able to find scholarly opinions on it but not the actual ruling with quranic/hadith evidence. Thank you! love your channel
