Beautifully narrated video of my ancestors and father homeland. There are so much history and the rich culture that we the new generations have no inkling about. Your video really keep our tradition alive. Now we have more knowledge and reading materials to know what our ancestors do and the suffering they have gone through to make what we are today. Hi, thanks for asking I went there at least 8 years ago. I flew from Guangzhou to Meizhou and while returning i took the local slow train with beautiful views. China advances at an exuberant rate; so expect the unexpected always but in all good ways... - Trains are extremely easy and convenient. There are high speed trains now (which was not there many years ago to Meizhou) from Guangzhou and takes about 2 hours. Festival times, they all get booked out. If you are new, use trip.com app to book your train tickets. - Stay for 2 days - one day to the Hakka museum and the nearby places and one day to go to that mountain village you see in my video - Depends - its a place of Hakka people (One of the ethnics). Their architecture, culture and food can be seen there. Its between mountains and rivers, so beautiful scenery setup. - Museum and Hakka peoples old communal houses are beautiful to visit and experience their way of life. Apart from that, there isn't more...but for me, it was good enough!
