Yes ! As far as I know they are still alive and well. They were neighbours of my family in Co.Clare before they left for Australia. My cousins keep in touch with Joe. Lovely family and fantastic musicians.

believe it or not, Paddy left Clare for Australia in 1959 - more tan 60 years ago.. back then, every country man in Clare wore a cap. Paddy brought that tradition with him, but more importantly, he brought the music with him.

My late father, Paddy, came to England from Sligo, always wore a cap and more importantly, brought his fiddle and his music with him....PS, I left for Australia in 1966 and met my first boyfriend in Sydney at a Tuesday night Ceili in the Church Hall...
