"Ankle breaking" in melee to me is like the first clip, sick grounded movement dancing around a stationary and confused opponent. Half of these clips don't really fit the bill but they are still good melee so I enjoyed the compilation 👍

Well, to consider what it means in basketball (or other sports like soccer, American football, or even hockey and lacrosse), breaking a defender's ankles implies that they were caught off guard by a change of direction while already moving, which I'd argue makes the stationary opponent clips actually the _least_ analogous to an ankle breaker and something like PewPewU's clip outmaneuvering Armada on the ground the most. However, confusing your opponent with superior movement mix-ups as a whole is fitting enough such that I think the compilation encompasses what we all feel when we watch someone cross up a defender.

Yeah, that's a great point - the actual definition for ankle breaking doesn't really match up to what I think of when applying the term to melee. The clips at 0:30, 0:32, 0:36, 0:54, and especially 1:00 don't feel anything like "ankle breaking" to me, they're just sick neutral reads. Agreed that PPU v Armada is probably the best example in this vid
