@@matiaspereira9382Bernadette *was* incredibly mean!! Especially starting from the season when Penny gets the job at the pharmaceutical company. I found it so odd, particularly when I think of that scene with Raj, when he thought Bernadette liked him romantically because she was nice to him. She yelled, "I'm nice to everybody!!!!" Well, clearly not 😣

I know that it is not 100% necessary that all the actors on a show be besties, but watching Melissa Rauch and Mayim laugh, talk and reminisce was so enjoyable. Specifically reminding me of the fun that I had watching Big Bang Theory and even more importantly what friendship should be.

Everyone agrees that Mayim and Melissa's entry into the series was sensational. They were the missing pieces of the Big Bang family. Penny's (the wonderful Kaley) scenes with the girls were really good. I remember laughing very loud!

The series started going downhill with them coming on as full time characters. Bernadette was mean, manipulative she treated her husband like crap and constantly disrespected him and his opinions and feelings on just about any issue didn't matter to her.

@Bellthorian

@@carlaarruda7874 The difference is that if you listen to Jim Parsons, he was playing Sheldon as if he had Asperger's Syndrome, a type of autism. So yes Sheldon was a giant pain in the ass but he could not help it. Bernadette was a colossal cunt to everyone by CHOICE. Add in that she was a coward as well, because she never stood behind her shitty behavior and instead angled it to where it didn't make her look bad. She told her dad it was Howard who didn't want to have kids for example. Instead of standing up for what she believed in regarding Howards trip to the ISS she rats him out to his mother. When she finds out that EVERYONE at work hates her and she is fake crying about it trying to generate sympathy what is the FIRST thing she does? Ensures that the bathroom that was supposed to be for EVERYONE is maintained as her own private bathroom screwing over EVERYONE in the office AGAIN. Then she turns around and manipulates them into buying her a expresso machine with her fake crying over them paying for her coffee. The character is totally despicable.
@Bellthorian
@Bellthorian Жыл бұрын
@@carlaarruda7874 Amy was far less annoying than Bernadette because in many ways she is like Sheldon. She doesn't really have a lot of social skills so she doesn't know how to act in social groups. Her character has an amazing growth cycle over the life of the series and she is a much better person at the end than she was when her character was introduced. Penny on the other hand is a total whore. She spends her 20's banging as many guys as she can, doing whatever she wants whenever she wants. In her 30's when she realizes she is not as hot as she was in her youth she settles for Leonard, not because she loves him but because he is the SAFE alternative. Leonard is the weak beta male that she has TOTAL control over. She couldn't give a crap about his opinions, wants or desires. She doesn't respect him, his only purpose in their relationship is to be the safety net so she isn't alone. She is also only friends with Amy and Bernadette because she can bully them and they pretty much do whatever she says. She has a VERY low IQ so she can't really relate to Amy or Bernadette but for some reason they are infatuated with her much like Leonard is so she tolerates them because if successful smart people find worth in her, she feels better about herself.

This is wonderful. This was like watching great friends just chilling and talking about their shared history together with The Big Bang Theory. I could tell watching episodes of TBBT that Melissa was naturally funny but never knew that she had a history of being in Stand-up comedy. I love her impersonation of Mrs Wolowitz (Carol Ann Suzi) it cracked me up, but learning about her talent of impressions was really fascinating. It's interesting (but not surprising) to learn about her love of Blossom, I'm pretty sure that being a child of the 80's and 90's that she grew up watching Blossom (I know I did and it is one of my favourite shows, that's why I was excited when Jenna Von Oy was on the show). I'm really happy that Melissa's hard work really paid off. She truly is a talented and lovely lady. Thanks for another great episode.

The Big Bang Theory to me was such a wonderful series. It had an amazing cast of characters. With the progression of the series, the development of the relationships between each of the cast to other characters in the series just made it so much more meaningful. The end of the series was sad, happy, and memorable. Standing there at the podium, Sheldon realized just how much each of his friends meant to him, getting him to that point in his life. That moment was the dam breaking, and all the tears flowing. I doubt there will ever be a show quite like TBBT ever again.

I am so grateful for this episode Mayim. I think that Melissa is so different from Bernadette and it’s so interesting to hear about the challenges she faced prior to the Big Bang. Thank you so much for your efforts on this channel ❤

When these two characters were brought on the show, it really was a wonderful change! They brought so much to the show it was hilarious! I couldn't wait for them to pop up in the scenes because they were HILARIOUS! They blended in PERFECTLY with the rest of the crew. They were the perfect editions, in my opinion!

Everything about this interview between two co-stars who became friends is... incredibly beautiful! Lately, I've been watching Michael Rosenbaum and his interviews with other members of the Smallville cast, and Wil Wheaton with other members of the multiple Star Trek casts. It is wonderful to see that actors on shows that last about a decade or so really can and do become friends, and a sort of surrogate family for each other! Plus, it's also neat to find out a bit about who the actors are as themselves, not in character. Thank you for this, Mayim!

Thank you both for this episode and for your brilliant performances on Big Bang Theory. You two artists are heroes. I'm slightly embarrassed to admit how many times I've watched those amazing 12 seasons straight through and how often I still do. Brilliant comic art, . . . thank you so much. And thank you no less for being smart and good human beings and sharing a bit of your humanity.

Simon said: When you two joined the cast the show grew another heart . . . exactly right. The show became so much better than the original concept, a hot girl grifting on a couple of naïve and lonely boys. You all were extremely courageous and profound clowns. Great art.

My husband walked in the room when I was watching The Bronze and he immediately said, "You're gonna have to go back and watch this with me! This is hilarious!" During the weight gain montages, lol. Great job Melissa, and Mayim thanks for nostalgia! Great to see you guys on camera again. When's Jim doing your podcast? I heard him on Jesse Tyler Ferguson's last week. Thanks for another great week, guys! Found the video on Grok Nation of the Blossum intro! Forgot I had already seen it. Worth the second watch!

As someone who has seen/listened to every single Big Bang episode at least 10 times, I have to say it was such a delight to hear both of your voices together again ~ I used to watch Big Bang with my mom when I lived in NYC ~ both of you were our favorites of the show! I also grew up with Nickelodeon and shows like Blossom, Salute Your Shorts, Ren and Stimpy! It was amazing to recognize Mayim from all the way back then when she premiered on Big Bang! Thank you both! Big love for you two~

Interesting comment about the ethnic family. I have an interracial marriage. I am Chinese. My wife is a born and raised Texan and is of mixed Spanish and English descent. She does not understand Chinese. When my wife heard my conversation with my parents, she always said we sounded mad. I told her that we are just talking.

It's so cool to see the 2 of you reunite. I have been rewatching the entire series for the 2nd time around, about 3 times for the first 4 seasons. I get into the show so much that I feel like we are all family. I envy every time I watch the whole cast eating together, so I occasionally end up ordering Chinese Food or a Pizza. 🍕🍤🐒🌙☀🤓⭐
