In this past live tutoring session, I focused on Acid and Base Neutralization Reactions, Precipitation Reactions, and Molarity.
Understanding how to use a solubility table can be tricky, but in this chemistry tutorial, I help you determine what compounds are soluble and insoluble for precipitation reactions.
Molarity is easily explained through practice problems, whether it's finding the molarity of a compound or using molarity as a conversion factor, I cover it all!

This is one of the question that I was stuck of “The volume of a gas saturated with water at STP was 300 ml. What temperature would be needed to double the volume of the above dried gas if the pressure were increased to 790 mmHg? I was actually getting trouble with analysing the problem then after that I don’t know how would I plan to answer the problem. On class I totally understand the topic and how did they solve it. But the problem is when they already give the word problem. I don’t know we’re I throw my common sense maybe it melted or something. So Mellisa please I need your help to cure my ignorance at this moment. I’m going crazy I only have one day before finals.

I have a question, at 56:03 , couldn't you had multiplied H2 by 1/2 to get it to equal 3? Then HCL could've stayed 3, so everything could've been 3, 3, 1. In my class, my professor said it was okay to have fractions as coefficients, so i'm just wondering.

Giselle Doyle Fe2(s)+ Cu(NO3)2 (aq)-> Cu(s) + FeNO3(aq) this is the equation unbalanced Balanced would be Fe2(s) + Cu(NO3)2(aq)-> Cu(s) + 2 FeNO3(aq) I believe so, but I am sure that now you would have this correct

Hi Melissa! What is real life example for acid base?
@melissamaribel
@melissamaribel 4 жыл бұрын
Chemistry is used in our everyday lives like the simplicity of drinking milk or water. For example if you were eating something spicy like peppers, peppers are acidic and if we wanted to neutralize this reaction you would need a base like milk. Water is another one where it actually can act as both an acid and a base. All of these reactions are real it's just harder to imagine when you don't see the actual chemicals.
