As someone who grew up in Long Beach, I've always thought that the "That's Saaaaad" sketch on SNL with Selena Gomez WAY didn't get enough reaction from the crowd or praise from the internet. It's *such* a specific character and I knew dozens of chola girls just like that when I was in school, I was ROLLING.

It's so refreshing to watch a standup that felt original and didn't feel like I was watching the same personality over and over again. It's so impressive to take things that you are vulnerable about and make them hilarious. I love how some of the jokes took an unexpected turn given your personality. The creativity it takes to write in such a way is so impressive. When it ended I was felt like aw man it's over already, where did the time go!

Outstanding. There is a new confidence in this performance. It's genuinely laugh out loud funny in loads of places.... I witnessed a performer who made the most of the hour and gave us a charming yet hilarious and entertaining show. Both songs were funny and very original and the warmth and sweetness of Melissa was the 'hook' throughout. Hey Melissa... Honestly, Melissa was probably the strongest impressionist SNL had. Other members could do a voice here and there, or do a passing caricature while in costume, but Melissa's vocal range and skill is immaculate. As an impressionist she is easily on the same level as Hank Azaria, Kevin Pollak, and the late, great Phil Hartman. Easily one of the most versatile, and underrated cast members of the last 10 years.
