I love how their solos are super melodic and catchy. Seven Pillars of Wisdom and the more recent Soldier of Heaven come to mind, they fit and enhance the song greatly. I love the melody lines in Solider of Heaven

Awesome Nico! I love Sabaton, one of my favorite bands, for sure; I only managed to see them live two times so far, but one of them was as support of Maiden, couldn't ask for more that day :). I hope you make more videos about them, definitely great riffs to explore.

Oh yeah, they were a fantastic opener for Maiden! I always thought of them as one of the most Maiden-like of the "newer" bands in terms of vibe, energy, and in essence. 😊

Thanks so much! Chris and Tommy did work super well together and their chemistry on stage was fantastic! In terms of playing styles, I find Thobbe brings more of a different approach so they might actually complement each other a little better. Either way, they're all phenomenal players. 😊

Good stuff, love the solo! The new to you guitar is just beautiful, I have a couple green Gibsons - anaconda burst Les Paul and olive drab Flying V - as well as a PRS in a jade smokeburst and honestly I think the various shades of green are some of my favorite colors for guitars. There are lots of cool green guitar variations from the different manufacturers out there but obviously a Lado is always extra special.

@ - oh yes, the most obvious example on this channel, Adrian‘s! How could I forget? I still do have my SDXQ but haven’t been playing it much lately. That is a stunning finish though. I didn’t know they made olive drab Epiphine V’s but I guess it doesn’t surprise me. I bought a Gibson V that was an exclusive run to a US merchant a few years back. I like it quite well and got a decent deal on it. Still digging this solo!

What is that chord you play at 12:36? The second last one of the slow chords. That's the only one i have struggled with learning this song by ear.

I'm playing: 0214XX It's basically a B/E but in this context, with the bass playing a D#, I guess it's more a D# augmented over E. 🙂
