I lost my daughter to murder 5 yrs ago. I’m raising my grandson. He was 5 when he lost his mom. She was shot at her job at the Walmart in Yorktown Virginia. So I’m trying to find something that I can make and enjoy. When I made that Pringle soap from watching you. It gave me so much peace and joy. I’m on a fix income but I love making soap. I was so so proud of me making the Pringle soap. If anyone wants to help me please do. Thank you 💜

This turned out gorgeous. I was thinking for the air pockets - what if you poured soap in as you were layering the hearts. For cutting more accurately I like the double handled cheese knife, but a T Square might also give you a nice straight edge to cut along. I am terrible cutting anything free hand lol. I was thinking silver as another color if you wanted a 4th. Maybe even a thin layer. I really enjoy watching your videos. Thank you.

I love the hearts soap, I never would have thought to do it that way. I have made the white bars with 4 whole column hearts in them on the loaf mold. And put small heart 💜 slices across the top of each bar. But some of the bars as I used them, about 2/3 way through, started to fall apart, the hearts popped out. I forgot to spray the columns again one more time just before I put them in the mold. I coated them like you had told us in one video. Have you ever had them separate? You are so good about remembering to spray each time! I have the same scale and really like it. Your gold bars came out beautiful! A gold mica, or did you add glitter too? By the way , I think your LEGO box is so cool! Thanks Dean😊
@DeanWilson4 жыл бұрын

I would make this in my small moulds, no weird cutting involved, cos I cannot go straight either, not sure how many you have but the ones with the godlsoapi mean. In the netherlands we have cheese cutting half a moon shape knives, i think that's what you need, search on the internet, they're not the small herb ones they use in Italy, but big big ones, can't leave links here, a rocking pizza cutter from pizzacraft might also work.

I would keep the light pink n the bit then I would do royal purple mica cause it has gold through it and in clear melt n pour u see that rich royal purple just sparkling and u can see the swirls of the gold in it. It’s stunning. I use it for my Amethyst melt n pour shimmer soaps. And I would have used snowflake mica n then use the really clear one the one that has no tint or color to it it’s like looking through a window. TKB trading,Bramble Berry, and Nurture Soap’s they all sell that low sweat clear melt n pour and it’s at an awesome price as well. Bramble Berries shipping is ridiculous to be honest. Ya there products are cheap but I got a $100.00 of stuff from them and my shipping was almost the price of my order. And when I found out that other places r much faster to get it to u and there shipping is reasonable or free after a certain amount spent which if ur placing a. If order ur good. So those are the only changes I’d add. But I do cold process and honestly because ppl don’t realize melt n pour is a lot of friggin work. Way more work than cold process which is what I do. I didn’t have the patience that u have or the creativity like u do so I went over to cold process. For me other then the lye that I master batch( ok that’s a lie my husband master batches the lye for me) but other then that I love doing cold process soap. You are an artist!
