I have such fond memories of my mother making this dish. She called it party chicken and would bake it low and slow in the oven while she was having a 3 table bridge party. After a lively party, she would serve a delicious buffet before guests drove home. This dish quickly became a family favorite❣️

MeMe, I watched this again this morning bc I didn’t have it written down and I’m making it for dinner tonight, so I had to get the correct ingredients. This is such a terrific recipe! I absolutely love watching you, you’re love for Jesus really comes through, not only in your reminder for us to shine, you’re just a happy, thankful person! I listened to you one day on the way to work, if I’m driving I just listen anyway and it was your video on Chicken and Dressing but at the end your talked about your son’s heart surgery, I was a complete mess when I got to work, had to redo my makeup😂And you and I both know God doesn’t make mistakes, all that happening on this birthday or that, how amazing. Oh MeMe, I wish I could share the classic "bagel dip" recipe using chopped up dried beef you use in this dish!! It's a rich dip, a real treat, usually served with quartered mini bagels for a Christmas buffet or Super Bowl Sunday type gatherings. Love you and your cooking channel❤

I made that chicken bacon recipe and my husband is crazy about it tonight. I just did the pork roast with bacon wrap marinating it in the fridge and will cook it tomorrow on the 300 for three hours and he is like so happy I like watching your videos along with using the cookbook.

MeMe, I discovered your lovely channel a few weeks ago and have been enjoying your videos very much! I ordered your cookbook last week and am eagerly awaiting its arrival. You remind me of my Southern grandmothers (now with Jesus) and my mama who also makes Sunday lunch for the children & grandchildren after church! My best friend in high school made a version of this recipe in the late 70s early 80s and I loved it. She served it with rice and asparagus every time I spent the night at her home. I was never able to find a recipe this close. She used cream cheese at room temperature instead of sour cream but I am going to try it your way.
