My Grandpa joined the CCC's as well, when I was 15 I was hired by Kings Mountain Military Park for the YCC program, The Youth Conversation Corp, which was spin off of the CCC's. Grandpa planted Kudzu, when I was in the program we spent our time killing off the Kudzu. One the last day I had told the ranger about Paw and his experience in the CCC's they invited him to come and speak, he brought his books that he still had and talked at length about working at the same park we were at. Thank you Meme for reminding me about that, Paw's been gone since 1999. I miss him everyday.

I have made the marshmallow cream dip for years, But I always use strawberry cream cheese. It is so yummy & everybody loves it. They have so many different flavors out now a person can just experiment away. Love your videos.

My sister and I grew up listening to all his albums (along with the Carter Family), our daddy loved them. Looking forward to trying this one! My dad had a version of this we would use 1 tube of Jimmy Dean original. Cook it, add 1 pkg taco seasoning, no water. Then add a smaller jar of salsa, velveeta and melt. Remove from heat and add a small container sour cream. Very good too!

I had to chuckle! 😂 This popped up on my feed as we were sitting down to have the Velveeta hamburger dip our selves for our Sunday lunch!! 🤣 Been in my family for years, too. I think ours was from Velveeta originally. Always a good staple! We dip baby carrots as well as the chips in it. 🥕 It makes sure we get our veggies!! 👍 The cream cheese and marshmallow cream looks tasty for most fruits. I think strawberries would be delicious with it!! 🍓

That's practical, MeMe, wearing short pants in fall with 90-degree weather. We are in winter season now, and last week we were experiencing high eighty-degree temperatures in southern CA. As far as those recipes you are demonstrating, it seems like some of the simplest ones are the best ones and can't be improved upon. By the way, I made the bajed cranberry relish you featured in one of your videos and thought it tasted delicious. Would recommend it to anybody.

You are the first person besides my mom in my 55 years that I have heard that uses this recipe. I have tried so many other peoples dips and many are ones they bought at the store and non have ever been as good as this recipe. I have only told the 1 person who didn't like fruit what my recipe was so that she would continue to eat fruit. I haven't told anyone else. It's in my recipe box though. Everywhere I have brought my fruit and dip to everyone loves it and many times it's the first thing to run out and I made a ton trust me. I cut a watermellon in half and I am talking about the large ones and I fill it up like you wouldn't believe and then I put the other half of watermelon over it and sometimes it's so full I have to put saran wrap around to keep it together for the travel there. Many times I make 4 and 5 servings of the dip which is quite a bit to go with it.

Try adding a bit of ‘Grenadine’ syrup to the fruit dip!!! Its wonderful. And it turns it a bit pink. Thats how my mother in law taught me. Kids love it.

My husband is from North Carolina but had never heard this expression, either. We’ve had a running joke now for all of our 40-year marriage about whether they are stove “eyes” or burners! LOL 😊

Another version of this dip is use: Jimmy Dean Breakfast Sausage, Rotel and Cream Cheese - so good with chips (I like to use the Jimmy Dean Hot breakfast Sausage) So yummy! Try it out Me Me 🥰👍🏻

I like to get only one of my finds. 😊 What a wonderful story about your acorn.
