Made a memorial flag case for my Mom who was a WWII Vet. As you said they are not too difficult to make and turn out beautiful. Thanks to your family's Vets for their service to America.

What width lumber did you use?

about 1/2 in thick lumber. The case ended up about 4 3/8 wide.

Hey nice cases you made! I’m wanting to make one for a friend who lost a veteran in their family and I don’t have their flag to measure by. Is there a standard dimension for these flags and cases that I could use?

I am not sure if there is a standard size. This was the firt time I've made these as well. I just went off of the size of the flag we had. The final size of the case ended up being about 21 3/4 long for the bottom piece and 15 3/8 long for the sides.
