I'm very much interested in Savage Worlds myself because of this. It was never on my radar. Gave Mythic another chance as well. This video helped me grasp what it was all about. There are easier/free oracles out there but none are quite as dynamic as Mythic appears to be capable of.

@@williamb.sullivaninactive1192 my favorite is called MUNE. Madey Upy Namey Emulator. There are others I can't recall of the top of my head. It's been so long since I posted this. Mythic and MUNE are the only ones I bother with. Both have their place. Mythic can slow things down and get too crunchy. MUNE is good for faster paced games like D6 Star Wars.

I really appreciate the sounds effects. I especially liked the Simon-is-knocked-out ding at 21:34. Also, don't forget that Savage Worlds has neat combat maneuvers *everyone* has access to, such as Wild Attack (+2 to hit, +2 damage, -2 Parry) and Rapid Attack (three attacks at -4). :)

Been binge watching these old season 1 episodes (have watched the other seasons some time ago, but had forgotten this). My goodness have I been having fun! This is 100 times better entertainment than what's on the tv - just like the other seasons. It's interesting how the seasons all have their own unique feel to them (this is by far the funniest of them, Simon's horrible luck makes such funny scenes). Love the enthusiasm, sheer energy, and amazing imagination that Trevor has, plus the high quality roleplaying. He's like a ball of creative lightning! Absolute comedy gold in this episode, was laughing so hard many, many times. Two thumbs up and many thanks to Trevor for this! (Really cheered up my bad day.)

That fight had some serious Dwarf Fortress energy. The Poltergeist throws the decaying head at the mummy. The spinning decaying head strikes The Mummy in the head, bruising the muscle and tearing apart the brain. The Mummy has been knocked unconscious! The Mummy is propelled away by the force of the blow! The Mummy slams into an obstacle! The Mummy has been struck down.

Suggestion for crossbow name: Heartseeker. The bolts seem to possess a bloodlust all their own, causing them to subtly correct their aim mid-flight. Many who witness the phenomenon see it as mere luck; for the adjustments are so slight they are almost imperceptible. The previous owner of the crossbow used it to cheat at competitions, winning a number of awards and accolades until she was found out and blacklisted from ever competing again. Shortly thereafter, before fading from the public eye (many believe she changed her name and paid a wizard to change her appearance), she sold the weapon; its name now infamous across the country and commonly associated with liars and cheaters. To this day, people are accused of possessing the weapon when their aim with a crossbow is just a little too good...

Simon does suck, but he's also got extreme luck. Sometimes, good luck sometimes, bad luck. There was no way he was getting any help the first time he came to this temple, and yet Mord and Dench, the Orc Chieftain, showed up in his hour of greatest need. But sometimes when he's got someone or something dead to rights, he should definitely get it he just misses, ie he falls probably doesn't break his ankle/foot, but breaks his ankle/foot. He's a great character, and this story is awesome!

I don't think the problem is that Simon Sucks, I think more accurately Universe Hates Simon.
