Hello … I was recently involved with a photographer never ever was I jealous of any of his models. I have always had, and maintain my confidence as a woman, but in the end men will do what they’re going to do recently found out he was intimate with one of his models and had a baby with her. He came clean but kept it secret from me for nine months . It’s not going to stop me from being who I am though right now. I’m suffering, disbelief and betrayal, but I will get over this. I will not let this situation destroy my confidence.

Thanks for the part about confidence. I'm always told I need to dress and look a certain way to attract men, even if it's not me and I don't feel comfortable with it. It's good to get that confirmation that my confidence is attractive, even if I mostly dress casually (nice t-shirt, jeans, purse and combed hair) since it's madness out here. I'm usually more worried about not being mugged than how I look, but knowing I'm not dressed like a slob and showing off some of my figure in these clothes makes me feel confident and safe

I work on mastering my emotions by writing bullet statements down in two columns “pros and cons”. It helps me by showing me the facts I need to make a solid decision. What are your suggestions on how to develop a sense of humor? Take it easy? I’m retired military and lived a lifetime of strict scheduling and a lot of responsibility. My former husband used to say “lighten up” “chill” and I literally don’t know how. Also, I love my natural silver and white hair. I’ve had friends suggestion to color it, but I don’t want to so I’m not. At 61, I feel comfortable aging naturally and get compliments from both men and women regularly. Plastic surgery was the best thing I ever did for my self confidence. I never think about my looks before I go anywhere now. I just go. I don't feel self conscious or pudgy or inferior to other women or like I'm disproportionate or anything else like that, and I used to think that way. I just don't think about it at all anymore. It gave me freedom, and that's priceless to me. I would never knock a woman for wanting that freedom. ❤

I try my very best to show a man of interest the very best part of me hoping he realizes I am not flawless either. After I show and prove my value and worth to him, it's never good enough so he still rejects me and accepts another woman for unknown reasons 🙄! Perhaps, men don't find me attractive or appealing or something about me repels them that I must not be aware of 😔🙄. Maybe I really am a romantic REJECT!. I’m all for natural beauty. Less makeup is more but women get to an age that makeup is necessary. I’m a tomboy. Don’t know anything about makeup. My bff had to teach me. She’s my personal consultant. Because she was like Nah, that shade is too light, Nah, that shade is too dark, then why is your face peeling? 😂 Apparently, I had mixed water based with oil based. It's a quite subtle art to always differentiate an intuitive hit from anxiety, or some other unresolved issues, especially if you're experiencing other stressors. So, yes, sometimes I've learned to deny what I was SURE was intuition, but later found it was not. Also, in general I find considering life and decisions through absolutes is not a good strategy.
