The final point ref unhealed/vulnerable. I think most of us are and so are the men! To an extent I believe I'm healed, but prefer to say I'm guarded now vs vulnerable. I previously was too open and kind. I was taken advantage of, yes maybe because I allowed it. However whenever I have communicated what I want etc I've mostly received lip service from my partners and them dangling carrots with false promises. The guy I’m with is used to being in long distance relationships due to being in the military. It’s taking a whole lot of patience and understanding from me to adjust to this. He says he wants to be with me but I just think he’s comfortable with how easy it was long distance. It’s bare minimal effort. I keep trying to communicate to him how much I love and appreciate being around him but I still continue to see him the “one to two business days” a week. Mind you, he’s a vet and doesn’t work but makes time for his friends everyday. I understand they were here before me but I also want to feel like a priority. So what if a guy you've been dating for a month shares his "location" with you on his phone. I'm not ready to share mine, but he shares his and is now asking me to do the same. Alpha male but when the financial woes, work issues and family pressures (that they’ve hidden from you) all come to the fore, they can’t handle being seen for the mommy’s boys that they are, and leave you. well i met a guy online and it was going good, him calling everyday and checking up on me. Met up and liked him as he did for me. However he started asking for sex and it just turned me off.
