Okay, diving into this one yet again. I'm pretty sure this is a primary issue for me.

Body dismophia is a big deal and then being aware of judgment from other men makes it worse! After 2020 lock down I stopped going to the gym and now I have this inner battle of not liking my unfit, non gym body but not wanting to be in the harsh gym environment!! More self healing needed!! We need more people on Instagram who promote inner health and happiness, rather than the extreme gym steroid look!! I just don't want to be in a gym with horrible bright lighting, mirrors everywhere and loud nasty piped music!! Home work outs and self exceptance!! Great video topic thank you 👍💓🙏

Thank you for great videos. As we all know everything is vibration/ energy. And yours really resonated with me to the core. After a while I started crying and felt some shift in the way I perceive my body . It's still a long ongoing process to accept yourself but watching you really helps me change my old, destructive thinking patterns. Sending much love from Poland.

Wow. I hear you. I really need to work through some stuff in this area. I'm feeling very conflicted. I may need to listen to this one a couple more times. I need ice cream. (just keep doing the work, tyson - you've got this...)

Very good points all around. My only minor quibble is about X,Y, & Z starting at 14:00. When that comes up in my life I seem to get two extreme views. One is that they are insurmountable and I'm supposed to both accept that they thwart me and take some sort of ownership that never gets defined ... all just because some random person says so. The other extreme is that X, Y, & Z aren't real and are only my feelings. It took me years to realize that both of these views usually fail to reflect reality very well (I'm being super polite here). So...... NO....... X, Y, & Z are real and will not change in response to anything going on with me. They are obstacles I must find a way around..... and I will. It might take me 5 minutes or it might take me 5 years but I will find a way around them. I just wish screening out other people's babbling didn't take so much energy.

Another great video their Kae! Each decade of life brings a new awareness, knowledge. Also a deeper peace comes into your life. If I may suggest... Viewers really need to read your book and when a situation of Life comes up you have basically covered the situation. XOXO love and blessings back at you my friend🙏❤

Excellent reminders! I'm curious. Do you have pectus excavatum? I do. It appeared more pronounced before puberty and it got negative attention from peers from time to time. It created an obession about my body image. I'd love to hear you talk about pectus excavatum if you do indeed have it too. Thanks! Looking forward to your next video!

Yes I do! I have talked about it a bit in previous videos. Check out the one about me spending a week naked. The reason I haven't talked more directly about it/made a video specifically on the topic is that I don't want to sound like I am complaining about something that is rather minor in the grand scheme of things. Yes, I was picked on horribly about it as a youth and teen. Yes, it caused me great psychological distress as an adult--where I thought I was wildly unattractive and wouldn't take my shirt off...but others deal with much worse than that. I don't want to sound ungrateful.

@@EcstaticSelf I have P.E. and a "few other things". My Haller score is too low for treatment but I had one doc tell me that my "few other things" give me a visual score of AT LEAST 4.0, prob closer to 4.5. I.E. way past the threshold to warrant surgical intervention. My parents told me I was imagining it. Let's just say that when I took my shirt off if I only got stared at that was a good day. And no, it has not abated with age. I'm on the wrong side of 50 and I get just as many stares and rude comments now as I did when I was 15. Weirdly, when I go to a nude beach I get ZERO stares. And nobody stares at me. What's kind of strange (I think) is that people's unsolicited negative reactions no longer trigger me. What DOES trigger me is any kind of suggestion that there's subjectivity involved such as it's my perspective, that it's how I feel,etc. All this talk of body dysmorphia usually assumes a huge psychological component. What about all the guys like Chris Berger (above) and me? That we do not fit society's model of what's acceptable in appearance is medical fact. It's completely physical. And tbh I no longer have any patience for people who fantasize a psychological component and try to project it onto something that does not have one. What I am curious about is your exercise routine. Ex. were there any specific exercise that made your rib flare less prominent? Ok, I've ranted enough........
@ak56592 жыл бұрын
