@@vrijevoeten This would be the most insane thing I’ve heard this week, but prior to seeing this vid, I watched a half dozen videos of people insisting that women have a prostate and should receive annual screenings after the age of 45. The mental gymnastics that these folks went through to validate this ridiculous claim actually frightened me, because most of these people claiming that women have a prostate have children, and others of them had fairly large followings, spreading their insane misinformation to their children and their thousands of followers. One of these people was a DOCTOR( females have Skenes glands, which some medical professionals refer to as the “female prostate”, only to make it easier to explain to patients with no medical knowledge; really nothing more than a nickname. I also heard a woman say that men have vulvas, which somehow acquired 724,000 likes. The amount of crazy I hear daily is terrifying, and the saddest part is that most of this “info” is coming from biological women who either don’t recognize that they’re legitimately trying to take part in the erasure of women, or what we as a species have known for thousands of years have observed and defined a woman to be. It’s heartbreaking and such a shame that biological women are taking part in redefining “woman”, with the only qualifications to be a woman is to say that you’re a woman. Ten years from now, we’re all going to look back on all this nonsense and either laugh or cry

@@laurag.8558 but being masculine has nothing to do with having a low voice, or dressing in men’s clothes, or having short hair 🤔, so it’s interesting how these non-conforming-gender fluid -As long as you say you’re a man, you’re a man and vice-versa people take on the most stereotypical gender roles and appearances of whatever gender they’re trying to present themselves as. If you would have told me 10 years ago that there would be men complaining of menstrual cramps and women believing that they have prostates, I would’ve laughed in your face, but here we are! 🤷‍♀️

@@vrijevoeten I agree and say this is the craziest thing I’ve heard all week, but I just watched dozens of videos of biological women, insisting that they have prostate glands. The mental gymnastics made to come to such a silly, misinformational statement would be hysterical if it wasn’t so frightening. Apparently some doctors use the jargon female prostate to describe a similar organ, and the psychos have run hog wild with it, and are now claiming that women have prostates and can produce semen. I am a woman and I just learned after 39 years of being alive on this planet that I can produce semen. So far I haven’t been able to produce any but will update as soon as I do which I am sure will be any moment now because hold on of course women have prostates, because if we don’t, we are transphobic, hateful, bigots.

I really think that's their goal. I've seen far too many TikToks where the person is "euphoric" because they're confusing everyone about which gender they are. So, it's hard to conclude anything other than a desire to upset the apple cart, so to speak. That, in turn, brings them loads of attention (generally not the good kind), which is what I think most of them are desperately looking for. It's a shame that no one has ever told them that this ideology is a very negative and disingenuous way to garner that attention.

You don’t have to believe in God to want to be one. Seems the AMA has forgotten the oath of do no harm. But pharmaceutical company CEO’s never took that oath did they…. I know there are people who truly believe they were born in the wrong body. But teenagers are too impressionable to be starting life altering procedures on them. I'm not one to armchair diagnose people, but there are a lot of times when I wonder if the desire to not be a woman is rooted in SA or BPD. I also loathe the idea that women have to be 100% woman all the time, and men have to be 100% man all the time, and people in between are nonbinary. What does that even mean? I miss the days of being able to read about male ballerinas and female engineers as ways to show that both men and women can pursue their individual interests, and it wasn't a sign of being "less than" your gender or a third category altogether. I'm gender non-conforming, and none of that takes away from the fact that I was born female. And yes, I have had people tell me that I'm nonbinary and should use he/they pronouns because I'm not stereotypically feminine. It's insane.

What does gender non-conforming, mean in this case? I'm a man who loves soaps, massages, spas, that kind of stuff, but I equally like videogames when I can play them, I'm blind, talking about sex, and other things that would probably be called male stuff. But over all; I'm just Brad, and I'm completely fine with that. All this gender stuff just seams like a big hastle and a headache to me.

@bradleybrown8428 Gender non conforming is any behavior or trait that deviates from the societal gender norm. A female auto mechanic and a man who likes cosmetics are gender non conforming. These norms do change between cultures and over time. For example, a girl wearing a tie might be very normal in a UK boarding school, but seen as very masculine in an American high school. But, as you can already see by your own interests, just doing things outside of the expected doesn't make you a third category. It just means you're a normal person like the rest of us with a wide range of interests and behaviors.

The reason why these people are struggling to figure out who or what they are is because they're being told that they have to pick an identity tor themselves, instead of just naturally coming into their own without any outside influence or pressure. I find it extremely troubling that we are putting this ridiculous expectation of having to "choose" what gender they want to be, in the same way we push kids to decide where they want to go to College and what career field they want to be in. They're making it seem like it's just a natural part of growing up and figuring out who you are, something to experiment with and try out to see how it "feels". Which is exactly why so many people are confused and are caught up in this gender craze because the vast majority of people aren't trans and shouldn't have to question their gender. Being trans is a biological anomaly of the brain, a medical condition and a very rare one at that. It's not a life decision that everyone has to make or figure out.

Now, I'm just a woman who's embraced being a female. And to be honest, I don't understand why people are so obsessed with their identity these days. I always knew who I was until I read about their "gender ideology". At some point, I wanted to transition to a boy, but I never had a problem being perceived as female. @@genzi78514 It didn't happen fast, it was a gradual thing. When I was still non-binary, I cut my hair really short and presented myself masculine. It made me happy when people used "he/him" or "they/them" pronouns when referring to me. I came to the point where I wanted to transition to a guy, but then when I did my research on gender transitions, I was hit with the realization that it was not for me. I pondered over my identity for a long while, wondering, "If I don't want to transition to a man, what is the point of me being non-binary?" or " why do I idenity as a man if I'm not trans?". It hit me that all these things I've been doing was just me hating on myself and being a female, especially with so many restrictions given to me by my parents, especially my own mother, because of my gender. I didn't feel in control of my life and being non-binary made me feel in control (but I wasn't, to be honest). The gender euphoria that I felt whenever people referred to me as a man was just me feeling joy over the fact that people are giving me validation when I was wanting to be someone else I'm not. This is just my experience, however, so this does not apply to everyone. Edit: Grammar

I see more women in suits nowadays than men, seems like men ditched it completely along with the gentlemen charm. I only ever saw that in posh Englishmen

It is amazing how a person can suppress, excuse, rationalize, justify, twist thoughts and words into a pretzel to convince themselves of the strangest things. I think most every human does it to some extent, your spouse is cheating but you make excuses for it, you know you should quit whatever bad habit you have but you bargain with yourself to continue "a few more times". But these folks have taken that ability to the extreme, at least the ones who believe what they are saying and not attention whoring.

Hello Marcus! Another great, informative video 😊 I hope you continue to grow and reach more and more audiences. Much love from Puerto Rico. I also wanted to add something. Although I understand that my experience is NOT the same for everyone else, I am someone that suffers from bizarre delusions. From believing and feeling that characters from shows and books can see and hear me, to not being able to use the bathroom at day-time. However, I also understand that this is my responsibility. For example, there was a time where Harry Potter was a huge trigger for me, and just hearing a name from there sent me into a panic. Still, I did not lash out at my friends or people when they talked about it or mentioned it in passing. I understood that it was my issue, and that I should pick and choose carefully the places I went to or the communities I involved myself in, as to avoid being triggered. I didn't yell at strangers things like "You should be mindful of other people! Some of us don't like Harry Potter!" if they happened to be wearing Harry Potter merch or something. That would have been silly. Anyway, I'm doing much better now though :) Exposure therapy helps.

I really liked the way Marcus affirmed that some viewers may be just a female going through some other stuff mentally, rather than being trans or non binary. So many people who are struggling with mental health seem to adhere to the trans ideology because it makes them feel "not mentally ill" and belong to a group of sorts. I have a mental illness, there's nothing wrong with that, but I totally understand how one might want to feel validated and included without admiting to the fact that they aren't well. I hope these people find their alternative/true reasons why they are not happy in their own bodies and find peace.

For me it is a common thing seeing women rather wanting to live a life as a man, and I guess it is because as a society we still kind of view men as more confident and "cool". I myself struggled with that (that doesn't make me trans at all, don't get me wrong) but I think we should just learn to accept that just because we are one gender that shouldn't define someone in any way because personality goes far beyond that.

Men don't get pestered by society the same way women do. Most men will never experience sexual harassment unless they find themselves behind bars. It's normal when a man doesn't want to settle down at 30 but weird for an 18 year old woman to not want multiple kids and a husband in the next couple years. When a guy acts feminine, people think he's gay. When a girl acts masculine, she must be transgender, or "in denial of her womanhood." A man can have multiple dates before deciding who he wants to spend his time with, a woman who does the same is demonized by both sexes over it. The pressure is so intense for young women I can see why so many look for a way out. Sadly we can't opt out of reality no matter how hard we try.

WHY do these people want to claim ALL labels, when they contradict each other?! "Non binary" BUT AND also "manhood"? How TF are you going to identify as not subscribing to gender binaries like male/female/masculine/feminine yet in the same breath you want to claim "manhood" and "trans". I swear to GAWD it's because these people with an off the wall sense of entitlement and narcissism want included in *every* space they can claim and appropriate where it's safe and comfortable to do so and to take advantage of whatever gender privilege they can get in that space. They'll be female where it benefits them and they get attention and sympathy. They'll be male where it gets them attention, sympathy, and perks. They'll be "non binary" where they get their affirmation and ego stroked by other non binary narcissists or as an act of rebellion for attention, because attention is their drug of choice.

Yes! Back when I was attempting to be fully onboard with the LGBT ally thing, the words you're using now are 100% what I was taught and what made sense to me. It wasn't until afterward when all this extra crap came about and the rubber really hit the road that I gave up. They're doing more harm to people who legit need a support system than they realize by just wanting to be special. If you're boring, be boring, but don't harm those who need help. I've heard the horror stories of people being thrown out, disowned and driven to self-termination - my cishet family can totally relate. These things need to stop, but I know that if someone's struggling with mental health to the point of contemplating self-termination, that's a chemical thing, not a societal ass pat thing. If you want to off yourself, please do whatever you can to make it a little bit more out of that hole. Get on antidepressants and anti-psychotics - whatever it takes. Even if you don't see the value in it now because you're trapped in that downward spiral, give it a chance. I guarantee this narrative of being pushed back against "we just want to exist" is totally wrong. The care of another LIVING being is slightly above the disregard of whatever your private life is. I don't think most people are good people, but I think most people are affected by the overt suffering of others.

I used to do these things to push the bounds and always felt like going against the grain and pushing back against society and government. I felt like being a rebel in different ways. This trend (it truly is a trend) feels just like that. Except it’s irreversible and destroys your body and things you can not undo. It’s so much more permanent. There are other ways to go against the grain, there are safe ways to be a rebel. I hope that made sense to at least one person 😂

It seems there’s a confusion between actual gender and gender ‘style’. For example: A girl likes the style of and feels more comfortable in boy’s clothing, but thanks to social media they believe they’re trans, because all trans men dress like men and used to be women, so she must be trans. There seems to be a lack of understanding of what it means to be a man or woman, and basing it on stereotypes (hair, makeup, beards, clothing etc), rather than a psychological need to physically change the body (actually transitioning).
