@@Whale15 I think he should have been DQ’d at the trials but not here. He didn’t shift lanes in this race all he did was throw his head forward and fell. Happens a lot and there’s nothing wrong with it. Now in the trials yes, what he did was wrong and he shouldn’t have blocked off Fisher and Kincaid like that

5k races is one of most i respect. Not slow like a 10k, almost in a pace of sprinting for 13 minutes. It seem like something you can do, but then when you see times they've done it becomes impressive.

Ahmed was wise to stay out of the fray. It may well be if he had kicked earlier he could have taken first place because he seemed to have 1 or 2 gears the other runners weren't able to access in the tail end.

Of course he did it for the whole of Uganda but his main motivation is always Kapchorwa and the Sebei people. If you have problem with it, write to him directly. Edit: Also, his tribe was historically oppressed by the surrounding tribes and is still extremely poor till today so he recognized the need of attention and support, the athletes are bringing improvement to the region and the standard of life of the locals through sports.

I thought I could run, came out for a warm up very early in the morning it was really serious for me I used to run when I was in the secondary school so I thought I could, came out took a few steps and turned back walking home I was so exhausted and out of breath and 8 have not jogged since then it was more of a traumatic experience. The way this guy's do it's still a mystery to me all I can say is respect

Nope Ethiopian Edris and Barega will win gold and silver in the next olympic. Lucky to Mohammed Ahmed got his silver medal because of the abesence of the two legend. Go back and see the previous 2 world athletics championship Ahmed was loser.

@@elkh7414 Ethiopians don’t have the Bekele type of athlete anymore, Uganda will win the men’s 10k and 5k at the next Olympics, mark my word. Ethiopians won the 10k this year coz of a miscalculation from Ugandan boys but next time they won’t be lucky with the tactics they use because we have analyzed the 10k and know all the Ethiopian tactics. Next time we shall be more prepared, losing the 10k hurt alot
