Congratulations to wanyonyi, young and a fast learner who runs fast. I also admire Arop running style, I have never seen any 800m athlete who runs effortlessly and stylishly like Arop. It's like he is jogging from start to Finnish while the rest a running for their lives, yet he still almost won. How does Arop manage to run like he does? Most of the time from the back? I believe he just made a tactical error otherwise he could probably have won this race if he kicked just a second earlier...
@ishmailnganga44252 ай бұрын
Such a strong athlete over the distance. His style is so unique (running from behind) it reminds me of Asbel Kiprop , former 1500m. Olympic and world champion, who would run from behind and accelerate at the last bend overtaking everyone along the track. Rudisha used the gun to tape method and remains the undisputed king of 800m 🎉
@frostie1315Ай бұрын
Marco Arop is very large for a runner (6’4 and densely muscular) and has excellent 400m speed. This combination of traits makes it look like he is jogging when in reality he is running 50 seconds per lap!!

@MarehemuToroitichArapMoi2 ай бұрын
The logistics of having each runner on their own track would be crazy....that's at least 10 stadiums each with just one guy running....for TV you'd probably need to have several cameras at each track, live editing so we are able to compare each runner on their private track....that's a post-production nightmare....It is a very flamboyant idea you are proposing but I see why they settled for simplicity. Have all the runners on one track, and the one who crosses the line first wins. 😅
