If someone leaves because you were vulnerable, they never loved you to begin with
@ilikepancakes2368

If you think that’s the case, you don’t understand female nature. Women will never love nor respect vulnerable men, never. The only reason why a woman would want a man to be vulnerable is so she can use his own vulnerability against him.

Then what's the point of being in that relationship? If she doesn't appreciate your sense of responsibility? It's not good when the partner abuses you
@SeanWinters
@SeanWinters 7 ай бұрын
Not liking you crying isn't "not appreciating your sense of responsibility", it's the opposite. Being insecure is like the opposite of being responsible. It sucks, but that's genetics and that's manhood. You are a man, you're not supposed to be "taken care of", no one is your mama anymore. fact of the matter is, while your opinions matter, and your decisions matter, your feelings DON'T.
@Southpaw88

@@SeanWinters that's just a miserable way to live life. Emotions are the body's way of releasing stress. If you keep them bottled up it's not good for you in the long run. Hence why those old generation guys looked 50 at age 30. Too macho and tough for their own good it cost them in the long run On the other hand, if you're vulnerable with a person it shows you trust them and they take it in a negative light that just means they most likely have a sh*tty character.

😂.. that’s NOT “opening up”. That’s reassuring HER FEELINGS while SILENCING YOURS. You have NO F’ing clue “what to do” OR if things are going to “be alright”, but just as long as SHE’s comfortable, you’re good (in HER eyes, while dying inside). Gentlemen, get yourself a REALLY good mentor, pastor, family member, therapist that you can truly OPEN UP to! And don’t get frustrated or resentful of your woman because she simply NOT DESIGNED to process mens feelings (it’s the way God made her).

Ok I see your point. But as a woman I can tell you that if in a situation where you really are lost and don't know what to do, you cannot give up. That's the only rule. Only weak people give up. And since us girls/women are not attracted to weakness then you better not have a mental breakdown and do nothing suddenly. A man should be a leader of the pack, leader of his family. Mental stronghold for the weaker partner aka woman. If you, as the leader did something to pull your family down, into bankruptcy for example...and you see your wife's worried face, the worst what you could do is give up when you said for better or for worse in your vows. So if you know you messed up, a big time, the best thing to do is get some confidence and reassure her that you will make the problems disappear. I'd advise you in that situation to repent before God, for taking it your way, and then give him the lead of your life. Cuz that's the hierarchy: God, man, wife and then kids.

If a man say things like this when he opens up to me , I will ask again - please tell me your real feelings and emotions. I don't care if he cry or explain himself . I will listen no matter what . Especially - I have a brother who shares his feelings whenever he likes a girl or also cry when our parents scold him only in front of me . So I know it really hard to share your emotions as a man , but I hope you guys found someone who listen to you. So don't worry share your feelings. If they are for you they will listen no matter what. And don't worry if you are having a bad day everything will be alright. And remember guys especially guys - you are special too and your emotions matters❤ And don't listen this guy be tough because only you know how you live . Lastly, its important Don't over explain your feeling keep some secret within you . You will never know someone true intentions unless you know them. Have a great day😊

Honestly, this isn't even opening up. Yes, don't keep bitching about your problems every now and then even with your friends let alone your gf. But once in a while, you should open up completely of how you are feeling, this is about being the true you. If you can't even completely tell how you feel to the person whom you are gonna spend all your life with then what the fuck is the point of living your entire life with them and earning for them, having children with them. If you think she's gonna leave you after you open up, I'm giving you brotherly advice, leave her. You deserve better. There are women in this world who are completely fine with their man opening up, and they are much more than we think. You just gotta find the one. It'll take time for everyone. Even the strongest men have cried at some point in their life but it is our job to keep putting in the work. But at the end of the day, we need someone who understands us and supports us emotionally. That's what a relationship is truly for.

Men should never suppress their emotions or be required to handle it 'confidently' (Im NOT hating on this video). Everyone is human after all. They deserve to show emotions because its already built in them. They are SUPPOSED to show it the way their brains tell them to. And if someone doesn't like you for it, they never loved you anyway. So a message to the boys: Do not be afraid to show emotions. You also deserve moments for when you cry, breakdown, get angry or just overwhelmed. "Men cant show emotions and showing emotions is a weakness" is just a man-made phase, it wasnt made by nature. Message to the girls, too: Showing a little emotion isnt 'oversensitive'. Men deserve the same comfort and care that you deserve. Think about it, men get their first ever flowers at their funeral (mostly). Surprising right? So treat men right. They are humans too. And only when we treat each other right we will overcome these gender standards. (Note: Please do not take this as offense. As for the owner of the channel, if you think this comment is disturbing or harming viewers just reply and I will kindly take it down.)

How about getting a partner that actually likes you for you instead of just what you show her. I somebody breaks up with you for being you that person was not for you. You need to find someone who can respect you for you and maybe you can relate to. You need to show your true self to your partner if you want a true love

This works on any gender really. If someone literally starts bitching and complaining about everything ofc it's a massive turn off. Having the courage and confidence to show emotions and open up about a given situation is quite rare and very attractive, complaining is not. One should be self aware while having an "it is what it is" mindset.

I disagree with this man. If my husband came to me and said man, I feel so bad about A,B and C and even did it the way this guy did I’m not going to lose attraction for him. Matter of fact, I think it would grow my attraction for him that he can show that he can be vulnerable with me. But if he opens up to me and it starts to come out like he’s blaming me, or it comes out in a very toxic way with anger aggression or defensiveness or blaming other people for his problems, then yeah that’s very unattractive and I think anyone would lose attraction for a person like that. If my husband opened up the way this guy said you should open up, I wouldn’t see that as being vulnerable, I would see him as having a big ego.

That's not opening up. That's putting on an act and hiding ur true feelings and emotions. I agree that you shouldn't go and on about not knowing what to do about something to the point it's just pathetic and silly but it's not opening up if your lying to them telling them you've got everything under control when you haven't. The minute you start venting to others is when people can start getting annoyed and think of you as a burden. I'm not saying ignore your emotions and pretend everything's fine, but don't start trauma-dumping on other ppl, work through your emotions in private and find a healthy way to cope without ever showing your vulnerabilities to your S/O.

You haven't been around many healthy relationships by the sounds of it, mental maturity and trust are the most important aspects of any long-term relationship. Simple example: the reason toddlers are so difficult is because they don't understand why they get angry/upset/frustrated and they don't know how to process their feelings or emotions in a healthy way or how to assess whether they are being reasonable or not... so instead of processing and assessing their emotions (which requires a lot more effort) they lash out and bite and cry and scream.....no logical analysis whatsoever. That's the difference between adults and children, you develop Self - Awareness & Discipline. It is super unhealthy if an adult still doesn't know how to manage stress/feelings of anger/jealousy or past trauma in a Positive & Productive way 😂. Imagine if you get into an accident & your wife is mentally IMMATURE she will just shut down from the stress or simply scream out of fear or even blame you for her inability to analyse her own feelings and understand her emotions. If she is mentally immature she won't be accustomed to thinking logically beyond her current state of mind to find solutions to the current problem. An ACTUAL Mature person acknowledges they are scared of seeing their partner hurt but processes that fear and faces it head on, they don't let their fear consume them and this helps them make the correct decisions to help their partner in time of emergencies. They take responsibility for clearing their heads of unhelpful emotions. Also, I have seen too many couples in therapy where one partner is too mentally immature and that person always take any criticism personally even when it isn't a personal attack, they simply don't understand that they're getting advised nicely because they are so used to allowing their emotions to cloud their judgement. This spells disaster as they feel upset/angry so they don't believe their partner is genuinely trying to make a constructive criticism. Relationships like that fall apart because one partner always believes the other is mocking them when actually they're just interpreting everything too negatively.

A partner that can be masculine / feminine yet are able to tell you how they feel. It’s Just like Mr Nice Guy syndrome. Nobody wants a partner who is overly emotional or nice alllllll of the time. It can be extremely draining for the other person. And I also learned that one person being overly emotional all the time and having the other person not be that way is not balancing it out, it actually makes stuff worse. People love to say that opposites attract and I mean they can for sure, but if a lot of their traits are completely opposite especially emotionally it’s probably not going to last long but that’s just my opinion. I have experienced this firsthand, but at the same time everybody is completely different.

If this is true, then this is why you need friends to open up to that way, because you *are* going to feel that way, and you *are* going to need to open up to *someone* about it. Whether those friends are male or female doesn't matter.

Idk why everyone is agreeing like this made any sense at all. His example was not even “opening up” its just a man admitting he fucked up but will be alright? How is that opening up? No that’s not talking about your feelings. Men should be able to open up to women. Y’all so fucking demanding nowadays it’s no surprise men are not dating or are “fuckbois”. Smh

Interesting that’s a little on the toxic side. My opinion there’s nothing wrong with opening up when you’re upset about something and you’re feeling emotional it’s normal it’s part of being human so if a girl gets turned off by a guy showing emotions once again that’s kind of toxic in my opinion 😒

So what are you talking about? No man ever opens up to a woman because he goes through so much crap in his life and last time I opened up to somebody wasn’t because I was complaining about work or anything with that is because I just lost my uncle and I have my ex-wife cheating on me After that, Uncle that help raised so I will never show a woman my emotions ever again

It’s true but that seems like a really difficult line to walk, specially as someone that has always dealt with problems by themselves. The double standard completely sucks and is why so many men commit s*icide. Seems like whatever we end up doing, it’s a losing move.

Better be alone, than have to be a stone brick man, that have to act stoic or whatever ever BS. As a father myself to a son. I would never tell him to stop crying if he feelt afraid or hurt. I disagree with this video. If a woman can't handle a man, when he at the lowest while she can act crazy. Then it is better to be alone

I used to be emotional and always wanted to talk to my wife about my feelings. She suggested that I see a male therapist learn to become more 'manly,' but I declined. She then brought a kitten and said that the next time I open my mouth to complain, she's going to make me carry it and pet it in my fanny pouch. 😂😂😂😂
