That first game was pretty intense but it's really interesting to see that the living end player doesn't want to play their main strategy because their own creatures are just way worse then the 4c ones 😅.

This is a result of the deck relying on cycling creatures rather than straight discard or entomb effects... I feel like the deck would be way stronger in jund so it could use faithless looting/entomb etc and run some real threats from the grave rather than a bunch of turtles & wraiths

Love this content! I have two suggestions 1.) Whenever showcasing decks in a match play all three games of the match regardless of the results. 2.) Now that Star City Games has reduced their content output for matches from the current meta, I would love to see this channel fill that void left from Corey and Ross.

Unfortunately, we already have trouble with people skipping over game 2 when they realize there is a game 3. Given how long these take to make, we can't really take the time to produce extra game 3s with no stakes for the 10%ish of people that would watch them 😐 but if it did not take so much work we'd be making all of these best-of-5! 😉But we will start a streamed version of these in the very near future that will be like SCG live, those will probably scratch the itch Corey & Ross did!

When evoked, it gets sacrificed, and then the living end resurrects it, so they shortcutted it to just stay in place instead of moving it for no reason

game 2 - I think you should've put teferi into play using planebound, then use teferi to draw a card, bounce reef perhaps, then play yorion. It didn't matter in the end, but it is the strictly better play right?

Unfortunately, after looking into the overlay design for a long time, we settled on that specific size for the cast cards to accommodate both card readability and not detracting from the board state. For the 60 card match-ups, we assume that the viewers are a little more familiar with the cards and we often try to read the less common cards aloud (it's not always easy to get the guests to do this though ). Once we start featuring commander gameplay, though, we'll lower the pace of the game to enable blowing the card up big onto the screen :)

When you evoke a creature, it dies immediately after entering the battlefield. So the living end brought the creature back in play. They just shortcutted the interaction
