Very scary indeed , I was driving a few years back didn't know I was in menopause well perimenapause I had to pull over some where and my heart rate was extremely high and anxiety and panic I had to wait awhile before turning around to go home , that was a terrible thing, I cried the entire way home driving, i found out last year I'm menopause from two docs, perimenapuse had mid life crisis too last year ,I pray alot these symptoms of perimenapuse is terrible, I have tired numerous meds , and found out I have cow milk allergy which I'm sensitive too , , I'm trying to work on my gut issues and hormones and all thyroids , my periods are terrible reractic , I have tired bc pop progestin only first day worked next days no , there is talc and how much strong lactose in it I don't know but magnesium stearate is bad too , I'm sensitive to most meds , so I been reading and researching this stuff, bc and food allergies can make you hypersensitive and be sick , low iron too , constipation and diarrhea, I try not to get to stressed out , I have gad and it can be manageable however when your gut is off and low in iron from river bleeds it messes with everything, plus had covid last year no good for me just made things worse , anyways I try to make sure to read all labels in OTC and meds in general I can't take most meds to many chemicals and my body reacts, however I ordered some non GMO Brazilian buts magnesium selenium in it and so on and idione potassium drops ,and gut repair powder, and vit d gummies it's a start I can't wait to feel better soon , I'm also a single mom of three my oldest tries to help, it's alot going through this change , I had to stop bc it's making me sick and I read up on it too , no good chemicals in it , so gut and thyroids and change eating habits again , I have good days and I have not so good days but I'm glad to know I'm not the only woman going through this, I'm in my early 40 and I believe this started in my late 30 it just gets intense more than before, I watch this channel so there is more support and make comments, thank you for taking your time to read this , I don't really drive anymore either and the brain fog is real too, I never really thought about menopause or perimenapause until I found out it came out of nowhere and is more intense

If you are bleeding heavily after not having a period for a while that is a problem you need to see your doctor about. That happened to me and I mentioned it off hand “I thought I was gonna bleed to death. Haha”. He did not laugh. He put me on some hormones until my periods stopped all together. He said that needs to be managed because it could put me in a position where he might have to operate to stop the bleeding.

I regularly get palpitations and sweats. I've had the pain below the left breast a few times but it feels more like a stitch like after running. Vertigo is a very regular thing with me but since taking a vitamin B12 supplement it's not as bad; and it's improved my sleep. And my daily 60 minutes of walking is essential for exercise and vitamin D.

I feel me revolted! I have 61 years now, but my perimenopause It happened around my 50s until my periods finish with 54. I suffered a lot mainly because I didn't understand what was happening to me and my friends with the same age said with them nothing happened. I had panic attacks and had to start taking antidepressants on the recommendation of a psychiatrist. I started to have high blood pressure, connected to anxiety, and no cardiologist raised the hypothesis that I was in menopause. I had all the symptoms you describe! Now things are much better, but I cannot forget the fear and the pain. I'm glad I found you, because it seems that menopause is (or was) a kind of taboo in some countries and cultures. It actually seems that Nature has made us expendable.

My worst symptom, is one most Dr’s have never heard of. I get cold flashes: so I can’t get warm no matter what I do, and this causes a horrible feeling of bugs crawling on my skin and even biting me. When it happens I’m so desperate I take my husbands muscle relaxers and even have to take an antihistamine both of which may or may not work. I get it mostly in the winter, the summer I have them once in a while. Btw- never had a hot flash once. I’m 47 on HRT for 4 years.

I had sporadic palpitations that got worse after my first (and only so far) panic attack. When I mentioned it to my doctor she was assertive, and I had ekg’s and a echocardiogram and more ekg’s, all normal. The cardiologist essentially told me that the palpitations are a perception, which I had previously experienced when I took my heart rate when I felt palpitations and it was in the normal range for me for the most part. I take a low dose of propranolol, 10mg bid, and it’s helped with the palpitations and anxiety and adrenaline/cortisol surges and headaches. A dose any higher gives me nausea fatigue lightheartedness
