Oh, I wish I could SHOUT Estrogen and Progesterone back into my body! What a funny story about your brother, Ron! LOL In my journey of Menopause, I thought it was only about hot flashes. I referenced a Natural Healing book and got ALL the herbs they suggested for Menopause. Tried them for almost 12 months...nothing changed. Went to my doc and got what works for me. Now I have you to guide me through Menopause University to make me even MORE aware of so much more than hot flashes. I thank my lucky stars for finding you! To this day, I plead your education to so many women...friends, family and even strangers. Most do not want to hear but I will keep pressing forward because I care. You look beautiful and I love ya, Barbie! XO~Maria

Brenda, Schedule a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I will tailor all the facts specifically to YOU. No two women are alike, and there is no way I can give you the help you deserve in a comment box. Be sure to watch ally videos in order, beginning with the very first one if you want to understand everything. (But a consultation is a short-cut around that.)
@sirleimartin54764 жыл бұрын
Dear Menopause Taylor, in one of your videos about progesterone, you have a chart that shows the amount you should be taking in the cyclical dosage (5mg) or continuous dosage (2.5 mg) The pills I take daily have a dosage of Estradiol/Norethindrone acetate 1.0mg / 0.5 mg. Since I am taking less than the recommended daily dosage of progesterone for preventing the diseases of menopause, should I ask my doctor for a higher dosage of progesterone? Thank you for all you do for keeping us informed!
@MenopauseTaylor4 жыл бұрын
Oh my, Sirlei, You are greatly mistaken! PROGESTERONE has nothing whatsoever to do with preventing any diseases except uterine cancer. And your formulation is fine for that. Please, please, do not assume that progesterone is pertinent to anything pertaining to the ESTROGEN window of opportunity. You are Mama Bear. Your hormone is estrogen. Progesterone is solely for the support of a pregnancy. I taugt you that very early in this videos series. If you have not watched all my videos in order, starting with the very first one, you are going to make some HUGE mistakes in your menopause management. You really should consider scheduling a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I'll make sure you avoid pitfalls.
@sirleimartin54764 жыл бұрын
@@MenopauseTaylor Thank you for the reassurance that I am taking the right dosage of progesterone. I thought that, like estrogen, there is a minimal dosage of progesterone you have to take ( if you have an uterus) with the estrogen, in order to prevent osteoporosis, dementia and hearth attack. I will make an effort to watch your videos in order next time. Thank you for the education you provide, and for taking the time to replying to my question. Have a great week!

What about Rhodiola ? I heard that it could help prevent osteoporosis?
@MenopauseTaylor3 жыл бұрын
Rhodiola is a plant that grows in the Arctic regions of Europe, Asia, and North America. Many people use it for treating anxiety & depression, but there is no medical research to support its use for either. The U.S. FDA has issued several warnings to the manufacturers for making false claims about its safety and uses. The claims for heart health and prevention of osteoporosis are two of them.

@@annemg4423 Most women chose 1 or 2 hours. If you have extenuating circumstances, like a disease, you might need 2 hours. But if you have typical menopause issues, you'll be fine with 1 hour.

I have heard that phytoestrogen can help to protect your bones, but not by itself.
@MenopauseTaylor4 жыл бұрын
Definitely NOT by itself. There are two critical things to understand about all phytoestrogens: (1) The chance that a phytoestrogen will actually "park" in an estrogen receptor is only 1/1,500 - 1/11,000 that of your own estrogen or pharmaceutical estrogen. (2) phytoestrogen
@MenopauseTaylor4 жыл бұрын
(2) The strength of a phytoestrogen after it "parks" in an estrogen receptor is only 1/100 to 1/1,000 that of your own estrogen or pharmaceutical estrogen. So phytoestrogens are just too weak to make much of a difference. I taught you all this in videos 25 - 30.
