He really is a beast for his age and mileage. He's always been a fierce competitor...in the ring and in life. The fact that he still eats as healthy as he can, still drinks alcohol, and still goes to the gym is impressive. He's an icon for many reasons. God bless Ric Flair.

​@sailboy1908 some people really are built differently. Stronger internal organs, stronger bodies, more willpower, more desire, more energy. A lot of it is genetics but some of it is the drive and willpower to succeed and be number 1. Even though Flair's championship runs were scripted, he had to believe in himself every day even if he didn't want to just to stay at the top.

Some people are built different, absolutely. One guy can smoke cigars and drink nothing but Dr Pepper everyday and live until 100 while another guy dies at 45. That’s just the way it is.

I read somewhere he was on an all-day drinking session the next morning he was in the gym before 6am. Then,he did a show that night. One of the best entertainers in wrestling 👏

WOW 75 years old. I remember seeing him wrestle in the opening match of a card at the Brantford Civic center in 1978. His back was huge and wide. Ric ,Hulk , Arnold ,Sly and Tony Atlas inspire me every day ro continue training and I will for the rest of my life because of their influence. Happy Father's day to all. I'm off to the gym.💪🏼

This guy was my childhood hero growing up in the 80s. I remember meeting him briefly at the Gainsville Ale House the night before the 1995 Florida - FSU game. Very down to earth guy. I wonder if he's still a big Gator fan?

Genetics ladies and gentlemen… if most any other man had lived the lifestyle (drinking, probably drugs, women, little sleep and being a pro wrestler) this legend has lived they would have been dead at 40 or younger. Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take care of yourself but genetics is probably the biggest factor when it comes to longevity.
