Bottom line: The guy does not have a trainer, works out with an app, follows no diet and eats whatever he likes. Just some intermittent fasting. Gotta love the guy (and his genetics). One of my favorite actors.

Eats "whatever he likes" does not mean he's not on a good diet. I imagine when he says he "eats pizza" its probably one slice every few months, when he feels and not the typical fatty behavior. Theres no way this guys portion sizes arent incredibly small, so yea, he "eats what he likes" (eats 1500 calories)

I think the secret is just finding a style of training that you enjoy. The fitness "community" can often be overly focused on optimization to the point where people will dismiss many training methods that are perfectly adequate. By far the biggest factor when it comes to getting and staying in shape is adherence. You can pick pretty much any style of training that is popular and it will work, but only if you stick with it long term. And the only way to do that is to enjoy it.
