Hey, how do you get it out, which position I mean? Since the cup comes back out in the original shape unlike how it goes in with a smaller opening because I am having a crisis over here. And also, the cup simply isn't opening back in I think. Idk if I need to push it deeper inside because then the removal process would be even more stressful.

My advice would be to try menstrual cup on your heavy days during shower and in a squat position that will make the insertion process a lot easy for you. I did the same and I inserted correctly on my first try . Hope you find this helpful

I'm a beginner and using the cup for the first time and was quite nervous after the failed attempt ..I was using the C fold but it didn't work for me. I was in the squat position in Indian toilet 😂...after watching your video that punchdown fold worked magical..it went so smooth but... Note:- At the end of the cup you have to struggle a little as that part is somewhat bigger due to the fold...don't panic at that moment just rotate the cup a little and try to insert the raised part inside..it will go smoothly. For me labia fold works the best. Tiny insertion point and ideal for medium- soft firmness cups. I use this fold on lunette size small and saalt soft size large. Labia fold i hard to maintain on harder cups like lunette large, yukii etc.

For those who are trying to insert the cup and won't be able: I have been trying to insert the cup for atleast four months from now, i think morethan that,. So let me give you some tips 1.find your vaginal hole by placing a mirror under you and use your middle finger of the hand you which you have more flexibility ,i had used my right hand middle finger. You should be in full squat position as shown in the video 2.afer finding the place, make sure that are is lubrication , first day of periods is hard for many so try this from your second day. Your cup and vaginal area should be wet, use normal water for this. 3.then slowly try to insert it. I had tried for almost 2 hours to insert it, so take a deep breath and do it when you are free 4.when you start inserting it slowly push your body upward not much only a bit so that you can feel the cup is moving inside 5.Talk to yourself while inserting like' yes come on, i can insert it, it's almost there something like that. When you feel motivated it will be more easy. And you may not be able to do it in the first try itself but don't giveup you can do it.

Hey there! Its probably not opening properly. It needs to create a proper suction block which is what prevents the leaks. So first it should be inserted deep enough. The stem should be one nails distance inside the vagina and not poking out. Then feel further up to make sure its opened properly, if its not opening twist it slightly, wiggle it back and forth, slightly change the angle or consciously relax your vaginal muscles. Once its open rotate it a couple of times fully, that seals it. - Team Glamrs

Hi Janhavi, the stem should sit inside the opening of the vagina and should not be outside your body. The whole menstrual cup, including the stem, should be inside your vagina. If the stem is sticking out, gently push your cup further in. Once the cup has been inserted the right way, it is so comfortable that you don't even remember it's there! Team Glamrs

Hey Anchal, make sure you’re using the correct cup and size for your body and your flow. Sometimes it can take a bit of trial and error to find the right fit. If you have a particularly low cervix, a shorter, wider cup might fit you best. If you have a high cervix, a longer cup is likely to fit you best (we wouldn’t recommend using a short cup if you have a high cervix - your cup can move further up your vagina as you move around which means that a short cup might be harder to reach). Started using them since Feb 2021. They r simple awesome. The only problem I felt is while using sirona cup it has got a bit yellow. I am bit stressed that is it healthy to use it now. Please reply how can I clean it. Boiling is not a option for me........mamma said it was not okay. Pls reply

Hey there! You need to replace them in 1-2 years. Also to clean it, just use a mild soap (baby soap or shampoo) no need to use dettol or anything else! - Team Glamrs

@@snehasarkar6795 I cleaned them with soap multiple times. Every time I reinsert them I definitely wash them but they are getting reddish yellowish with each use. I used spare toothbrush and soap and still the stain is not gone. Can u pls suggest some method. If it doesn't works this time. I will get a new one for myself. Coz I don't think it is safe to use it now. It will be really kind if u could suggest something

HI there, please son't as it can cause yeast infections. The best lubricant to use with a menstrual cup is a water-based lubricant. Do not use oil based lubricants or silicone lubricants as these lubricants will degrade your menstrual cup. -Team Glamrs

I am not sure about stem part. I am using a small cup of size 3.5. It is gets visible only when I open the flap of labia minora. Is that correct? or is it still out? I took me four attempt to finally get it inside. Thanks for pointing out anxiety during insertion. Deep relaxed breathing really helped me out.

Hi there, this is a bad idea for many reasons. The cup is regulated for use only during menstruation, meaning a key element of success is menstrual flow. if the cup is inserted when not menstruating, the vaginal canal is often less lubricated and the cup will not glide in as easy (and will be quite uncomfortable). The cup will also not open as easily which can lead to difficulty with removal and an overall unpleasant experience. -Team Glamrs

Hey Indu, There could be a few reasons, cup might be too small, flow might be too heavy and you may need to change it more often, it may not be properly open inside.
