Great form. Good idea about the breaths. If Uhaul runs out of vehicles I am calling you to help move my fridge.

Thank you! Simple, yet effective.

Thanks Mike, really informative. Due to my long torso and low flexibility I had really huge problems setting up on the deadlift and keeping my back straight. One big thing that helped me was pulling the slack of the bar and the cue for keeping my lats in backpockets.

Great video! What other people do to psych themselves us beforehand is going to be different from person to person, but you nailed it! I have realized that my legs are a weakpoint and I want to work on them, and I see that this can actually help people

Great video! A quick qeustion that has to do with the Deadlift.. I suffer from flat fleet. I've heard that you should always deadlift barefeet. Should I still do it even though I have flat feet? Or should I use some shoes with arch support?

Question re your last rep of each set: When you finish the pull and you're standing straight up holding the bar, are you still holding your breath? Or, do you resume your breathing as you continue to carry the bar?

Pressure breathing like that could be improving activation of the transverse abdominus?

This is really interesting, especially when you think how the torso is supposed to be positioned over the bar with the arms at like a 10 degree going back, your shoulders in front of the bar. The lats totally stabilize the load and make pulling more efficient, even though your arms aren't completely vertical.

Very long arms 😱😱😱
@morecowbell3611 жыл бұрын
Concentrate on keeping your lower leg vertical. Scraping your shins comes from having too much dorsiflexion in your ankle joints.
