I continue. I found him to be unperturbed and kind of a guy who seemed to invite problems, be in it, solve them and enjoy doing that. I also have friends and relatives in Navy and IAF holding command of destroyers and at Groupie level. Why I am writing is all these services guys, including yourself, are from the same foundry and have same mentality and josh. Jai Hind.

Very good video, but my suggestion to the anchor is to be less verbose and give as much time as possible to the guest. Captain Raman please allow me to write few lines, which you may not bother even to read. I am a 75 year old civilian "military buff" who follows and understands critically military matters. Without exceptions your videos are outstanding and inspiring. Allow me to indulge in some nostalgic remembrances. My late father was Major in British eighth Army and fought in the entire WW 2 in the Middle east in various fronts from the worst days of Eighth Army to the winning days under Monty. He fought the Germans and Italians and was even Injured in battle. He was very successful in civil life, but the soldier in him died only when he died at age 96

Hi Mr Murti, thanks a lot for taking time to watch the video and giving us feedback. It means a lot. Indeed. We hear what you are saying. This was a first time experience for us hosting someone like Captain Raman, and we have learnt to host better as we are growing :) Really appreciate your inputs.

I write again since there is space. Do you know who are heroines? Not those couch jumping and dress dropping rotten women from the Bollywood. The real heroines are the wives of servicemen. What hardship and separation and living when her spouse is on field posting. They have excellent within service support system, but it is hard to live not knowing what will happen to her husband next moment. Recent example is Late Col Babu. Their future, children's education and so many other things. Another accepted, which they a sort of enjoy is transfers, sometimes sudden movement. They many a times do on their own when their husbands are away. I can relate a personal example of my brother-in-law and sister. He was from IAF. Suddenly one afternoon he comes and says in Bangalore that he is transferred to Chebua and is leaving next afternoon by service plane and that my sister has to unwind the family in Bangalore and join him as soon as possible. I am not criticising service life but only to say how the wives cope up. Jai Hind.

Great appreciation and gratitude for those wonderful women behind all the army personnel. Thank you sir for writing instances, this generation could learn from such instances.
