Oh I know I already commented on this video a little while back, but am rewatching this reaction because it brings me such joy :) "Frankie" like you pretty much guessed is a reference to Frank Sinatra. Something you may not know however is that Jon Bon Jovi (lead singer) is a grand nephew of Frank Sinatra. Kind of a cool shout out knowing they are related.

After my "that time", I put together a small playlist of songs I would listen to as much as I could for a while, all of them had a positive effect on me and kept me moving forward even as I was struggling to climb out of the hole. This was one of them. It and the others (3 Doors Down - "It's Not My Time", All-American Rejects' "Move Along", Jimmy Eat World's "The Middle" and Seether's "Rise Above This") were what I needed when I needed it. I owe a lot to those songs.

Hey Amanda, I recently discovered the channel. I'm struggling myself with mental health issues at times. Won't go into the specifics here, but most of the time I am in a very dark and cold place lately. One thing that helped me a lot is one specific album called the valley, especially one song. It's from Whitechapel and the Song is called When a Demon defiles a Witch. Little story. The song is about Phil Bozeman's mother who suffered from severe mental conditions. It may have been schizophrenia, or maybe dissociative personality disorder. Basically she saw demons and those demons were torturing her. She wrote journals about what she had to go through and the song is Phil's way to process his past with his mother. I'd really like your thoughts on it. One last warning. The video is like a very drastic short horror movie. Keep up the good work. You are making a difference and giving us the power to keep fighting aswell.

Well I'm still on the dock my Ginas gone but even now close to death myself with cancer again i won't give up. This song and oddly enough Take it on the run from REO speedwagon are my fight songs next to were not gonna take. Your an amazing selfless person. And you really help my mental health. Funny thing is that in a fanfiction I'm working that takes place in the Hazbin Hotel Universe, this is the anthem of my two main characters. Basically one had lived a horrible life full of bulling and cruelty in the 1960s. And had turned to violence since he wasn't getting any help and had felt helpless and became a serial killer. Until he was killed by the town's people and ultimately sent to Hell. But chose to take revenge which consumed his soul even more, but is now facing the consequences and turns to drugs for help. And a second person who lived in the 1950s was abused by his family but found fortune in business and hid from the public that he was both autistic and gay. But his greedy family told everyone a had sent him to a mental asylum for "help". But before that he took his own life but not without scaring the public with the image of his death. And found more acceptance and business in Hell and found a boyfriend. However, said boyfriend is abusive towards him but he can't leave. So they lean on each other for support and this is the song they play to get through their struggles.

I had a very half hearted attempt. It was a cry for help but an attempt none the less. The first thing I thought immediately after when thankfully I did not succeed was "Well that was stupid!. If you haven't already, you should listen to Derek Hough - Hold on. It is geared towards prevention and not many people would qualify to sing it but he has had a particular bad experience of being bullied for a very long time as a child. He was bullied so severely by neighboring children that they hung him upside down in trees and put rifles to his head. He once made a speech in which he said something so true. You don't become the tallest skyscraper by knocking down other skyscrapers. You become the tallest skyscraper by building yourself up. Out of something so horrific blossomed something so beautiful.
