The Birds was based on the Daphne du Maurier short story set in Cornwall, published in 1952. So the '63 film was based (loosely) on that, not weird bird behaviour in California

Wow. I made it into a Mental Floss video. I was at Taylor Swift Seattle Night 1 and you could feel the stadium move, at least in the nosebleeds. I thought “maybe this is normal” and then later heard one of the girls working concessions was worried because “this never happens during NFL games”. It was not normal 😅

I felt an ice quake in Madison, WI, once. I was on the top floor of a building on the UW campus when it happened. The ice on Lake Mendota snapped, and there was a seismic wave that was felt only near the lake, and the higher you were in a building. This was in 2008- I think February, but I don't remember the exact date.

It's crazy because I remember that I was in high school when the 3DS dropped and I was grounded at the time. I was able to get the console at launch (overpriced as it was) due to saving up Birthday/Christmas money but couldn't play it for a week lol. Still worth it though. Games were great!

well... if I picture an onion and double it's size and double it again and few more times (I will take three as a minimal amount for few as it is just a little bigger than a couple) it makes five doubling i.e. multiplying by 32 and if my imaginary onion is of modest two inch diameter, then multiplied onion will be 64 inches aka way bigger than so called record... oh, what I wanted to say? be careful with exponential growth

Here's an idea: check facts. Like, I mean, instead of just saying stuff, like, look it up and see if it's true, then if it is, go on and say it. If it's not, you can then chose to either not say it or say what you found actually was true. Just ideas here. You do you, but it might be better to say stuff that's real. IMO.
