They did with Shiva in the movie Batman: Soul of the Dragon. She was the greatest fighter there. In fact, that movie does justice to all the best martial artists in DC. Shiva, Bronze Tiger, Richard Dragon, they are all more skilled than Batman. They didn’t nerf Bruce in any way, the movie even emphasizes on Bruce being the most driven and resourceful of the bunch

A big thing missing from the first two Batman movies that I liked in the comics is how Damian is respectful to Bruce once Bruce puts him in his place with some authority after having enough. Damian is disrespectful to Dick, Tim, Alfred, etc at first while Bruce is “dead” after Final Crisis. But before that, Batman yells at Damian about how his behavior is a disgrace to his training and those who’ve trained him, giving him a full Kratos “Boy!” Treatment in the comics. While Damian is still a brat to others after this moment, he instantly recognizes Bruce the man after that. Damian even tries to show Bruce he’s worthy of helping him…granted he does it by beheading some dudes so….he still needs discipline, but he doesn’t disrespect Bruce the way movie Damian does.

I think what people may likes about Batman is that his fights are so tangible. Ko from kicks, punches, breaking walls, pulling objects or people with wires, hitting the concrate hard, getting shocked by electricity are happenings that maybe you have seen or felt irl. So Batman fights are so impactful. Its like why tooth pulling is so effective in horror movies. Most people had some of the worst pain of their life caused by their teeth, so when you see it on the screen you can really get into it. I also belive that is why people like Spider-man web swinging so much. Swinging on ropes emulates web swinging pretty well so you not only see Spider-man swinging you are imagining it.

Bro I remember having Superman/Batman: Public Enemies on a cd and watching at my grandparents house as a kid, I have watched that movie more than 40 times I think and I still love now as a young adult, and it was probably my first introduction to how skilled Batman was when he and Superman fought all those villians and hereos after that, it definitely has some of the best action in all of DC animated movies, and pretty much every animated Batman is a badass except for the Killing Joke one.... we don't talk about that movie. Also Nightshade in Public Enemies had a fire design adn I kind of wish we got to see more of her in animation.

Regarding the movie Batman: Soul of the Dragon, I wish they added some elements there to the main DC lore. Like Bruce training with Bronze Tiger, Richard Dragon, and Lady Shiva and have some sort of “kinship” with them under master Kirigi. His dynamic with them was more interesting than his dynamic with the Bat Family half the time. And him being the least skilled fighter of them (despite being the most driven) and making him the “little brother” of Kirigi’s students while emphasizing on his undying willpower like the movie did adds a lot of layers to Bruce’s young life before becoming Batman

it is sooo infuriating how they try their best to make deathstroke look weak and pathetic compared to batman and in actual reality deathstroke would take batman's lunch money and eat his food without no apology. I noticed that when batman gets his ass handed to him it is some lesser villain who is not even close to his skill level sometimes and when deathstroke is beating up the whole teen titans or the justice league batman is nowhere to be found and I hate that so much.

Nah man. DCEU was cooking! In every adaptation, Superman and Batman have a brief fight before becoming frieends. Hell, both in the DCAMU and DCAU had them fight briefly. WB just can't manage a paper hat, let alone any of their franchises. For the DCEU, Superman wasn't the Superman we knew YET, and Batman wasn't the Batman we knew ANYMORE. Until the end of ZSJL. The universe probably would have been a lot better if WB knew how to manage anything, stopped constantly interfering, and didn't let their executives add unnecessary stuff.
