Special.Forces were the Cream.of the Crop! In Viet Nam, as in any War, alot of them were killed. They are supposed to be the highest trained, smartest, quickest, top physical shape, the WHOLE THING..

Yeah. Politicians right on down to the top Generals but the Politicians were the real quacks. They had the government contracts rolling, black market was fueling the need for more goods overseas, drug trade, crooked southern Vietnamese government officials...it was just a train wreck of loss of life, that no one cared about except the veterans fighting the war. Veteran myself also. America literally created the entire mess then dumped on the poor southern Vietnamese population...promising them support then...nothing...just pitiful...
