Outside of Jason Aaron essentially making the Marvel version of Justice League Incarnate anyone else find it unsurprising that Echo loses the Phoenix Force making her abilities more in line with her MCU counterpart a few months before her series comes out as well as the Phoenix coincidently becoming “available” just before Jean Grey died again…clearly Marvel need Jason Aaron to hurry up and end the story because he was using assets other people needed.

I kinda feel that like 616 Reed was different than all in the council of Reeds that 616 Doom is different than the Doom above all. Remember when Doom said that he was a god one and he felt it was beneath him. I believe that if the Doom above all would have tried 616, he would have got that smoke. That meme about MCU Tony Stark always learns from his mistakes, so does 616 Doom.

Part of me feels like this could be a cool adaptation for secret wars, especially with what they're doing with Loki and how they're thinking of moving away from Kang.

I always saw Kang as more a setup for Secret Wars. I am calling Kang Dynasty as being a adaptation of Young Avengers (and with the post of The Marvels even more so now) with the through line being a Young Kang fleeing his destiny to become basically all the Kang Variants this teenager from the 31st century seeks the avengers but finds ms marvels young avengers instead. They help defend him from well himself one of witch i call as the power behind the Thunderbolts. Ultimately his teammates are all captured by the Kangs and the young kang now Iron lad sacrifices himself to save them. But he is a nexus being all the Kangs descend from him and if he no longer exists neither do they and they all play Huge roles in History across time and realities. His erasure crashes existence like a house of collapsing cards. Then Loki comes in and saves what he can allied with doom playing the role of molecule man from the comics maybe? Setting up battleworld and secret wars…

This randomly reminds me of one of my favorite childhood cartoons from the nineties - The Pirates of Dark Water. It was such a fun show with some surprisingly good lore/storytelling.
