Mercedes 410D Crankshaft Pully & Front Seal Removal

Here's a video I put together yesterday showing how I removed the crankshaft pully wheel and seal on my Mercedes 410D engine.
Remember guys take your time when doing these kind of jobs and use the proper tools as you dont want to be nackering the bolts and threads as you try to remove them.
But the main when working on any vehicle is saftey, and if your planning on using heat anywhere near your engine, remember if it's covered in oil and gunk you need to clean it off first, otherwise it's a fire hazzard and you absolutely do not want that.
So please clean everywhere before you start, as when things start to go wrong fire wise, you probably wont be able stop it.

Thanks I need to do mine! It’s a mess! Same engine as yours, mine is 310d though. And wow your shackle mount is awful!!! I thought mine was bad!

I've just finnished removing the mount today, angle grander & air hammer and it all came of in bits. Got to repair the chassis behined it before I can fabricate a new lear sping mount. Will look good when it done.
