+1 .. Fantastic C124 Mercedes coupe alloy wheel comparisons ... I too use 205/55/16 Michelin tire as a 1 size up from the stock 15-inch tires; 205/60/15 tires, Sportline option fitted. .. Fitted an after-market brand, MB 8-hole style alloys,, one size up; 16" alloys. .(7.5" x16" ET 37). .. This 7.5" wide ET 37 offset wheel sticks out 10mm more, than a stock Sportline wheel. .. The Sportline alloys are 7" x 15" ET 41 ... But you know that ..... Having your visual of the various offset and wheel sizes is invaluable. .. Many Thanks! Vail, Colorado

205/55/16 for front and rear.

I think the wheels look great on this car, but to small on a 500E. Same style in an 18 would be ok?

Rial make those 8 holes style in 18". I think they're called MT400's. Rare wheels, so not cheap... I wouldn't fit anything bigger than 17" on a w124 though, even on a 500E.

Hi, it looks really good. What height reduction are these eibach`s 25mm or 40mm? How about comfort in such setup? Is it decent? Cheers from Poland

Not sure how much lowering this eibach did, as I had them when I bought the car. Comfort is nice, only thing I don't like is this setup with 205 tires. They need to be 215 or 225 in order to fit nicely on the rim. Now it looks like rim is sticking out comparing to tire. But you must use 205 if you didn't roll your fenders, anything bigger like 215 or 225 will rub...

@@addictedtorust thanks for respond. I`ve bought today 8loch 15" 7J 41ET fully restored and turned on CNC, they look awesome. I will go back to stock/sportline setup. Cheers

Sie sehen toll aus, aber um sie ohne große Probleme am Auto zu montieren, bräuchte man Reifen der Größe 205 55 16, alles, was größer ist, reibt. Wenn man diese Reifen (205 55) auf die Räder montiert, sieht man sofort, dass diese Räder einfach breitere Reifen haben wollen. Perfekte Reifen wären 225 55 16, aber sie würden nicht auf normale W124 passen, man müsste die Kotflügel hochrollen. Wenn Sie genau hinschauen, werden Sie feststellen, dass die Reifen/Räder nicht perfekt passen, aber insgesamt sehen sie großartig aus.
