New MRJWW video, stop what Im doing, enjoy the ride. AMG is one of the few brands that has been able to ad turbos and not loose the drama, the sound. I think it could be a great purchase, specially as it would be very different in many aspects to the rest of your cars. Id say Carrera GT as well, but you have talked about why it isnt the moment yet. Maybe one day...

Well, way late to this party...last three cars were Ferrari 458 Italia, Lamborghini Huracan 610-4 Coupe and a McLaren 650S Spider. Picking up my 2018 AMG GT C Convertible next week! Full of anticipation and hopefully will not be disappointed. Road Atlanta here I come! If it tops my 650S on that course I'll be astonished. 130 mph on the short straight and 150 on the long back one... 1m 35sec best run. It's not the car, it's that I can't mentally keep up with much more speed than that!

I own a C63 and I have honestly never been happier in a car. I own the previous generation (naturally aspirated V8). It's such a fun car and I am sold on AMG's for the rest of my life!

Here in Australia we are huge buyers of AMG cars. Our speed limits on road don't allow for any potential to come out. 100 kmh is it in Victoria. The price of the cars wow. We have a luxury tax or 33% on cars over 65k. The GTC will be over $300k when available here.

I think the GTc looks amazing. One of the best looking cars IMO. would defo go for this over a normal GT or even the GTr. The car was meant to have the rood down!

do a lot of movements for these cars and i preferred the gtc to the gtr, the gtr spec a silly big race seat with massive wings meaning once you are strapped in its extremely difficult to reach the drive selector or controls. not very mercedes at all, would still love a S63 though, its the all rounder

Great video dude. Really interesting to learn more about the newer models. As a former 6.3l AMG owner, I'm very partial and would go back to the brand like a shot for the very reasons described. They truly are a hybrid of performance and luxury. The GTc would be a respectable choice for sure. I just love that interior. You're just surrounded by stunning design. I look forward to seeing what you chose mate.

I was having a hard time deciding between the GTC and the Audi R8 spyder. GTC - 186,000EU - leasing rate - 2,100EU/mo R8 spyder - 192,000EU - leasing rate - 1,700EU/mo Both cars nearly fully optioned out. GTC - Had by far more options that didn't exist on the R8. R8 - The Black & White Edition package basically includes every option available asides from carbon parts. Once Audi sent me their offer it was an easy choice. But what are your thoughts?

This has a double clutch gearbox (the AMG 7G-DCT) not a conventional torque converter :). Surprised mr. sideways didn't know that! And you know what would be awesome, if you could get your hands around a E63 S AMG 4Matic+ Estate and compare it to your RS6 Performance :)

Although the spec on that particular car wasn't to my taste it's still one of my favourite releases of the past few years. Amg is killing it at that price point.

This type of gearbox is called 'torque converter' not 'torque vectoring'. Torque Vectoring is a power distribution system within the axel (alternative for LSD); Torque Converter is a turbine-like mechanism that multiplies torque at low rotational speeds.

Another great bit of vid James. As much as I love (most of) the AMG line I just am not a fan of cloth top convertibles. I have yet to see one with an attractive roofline and they start to look knackered pretty quickly. Then again I hold on to mine a bit longer than you would with this model.
